| A friend of mine and I took my 6 year old for a sunset cruise last weekend and had a great time! Yes, it was windy, foggy and chilly, but nothing that a heap of microfleece, a thick jacket, and a tight hat (windy) can't overcome, and it was still beautiful.
I agree with a previous writer that it is nice to take in the sights, relax, have a beer, and watch your kid roll around on the big nets at the front of the cat (sorry, no nautical lingo to dazzle you with). Just be an attentive parent, and everyone will have fun.
Also--I very much enjoyed the smooth ride of the catamaran! I usually take sailing tours which leave me a little queasy, but the cat pretty much skims the surface, so no seasickness. There is a big inside area to hide in if you find the open bay is too much action for you, conveniently, that's where the bar is!
Definately worth the 45 dollars. Have fun! |

| I highly, highly recommend this. I grew up in the sf bay area and this was an entirely new and refreshing way to see the bay. The sites are gorgeous, the crew is nice and every moment of the trip is memorable. |

| We have been on the Hornblower cruises and the ferry cruises on the bay, but this was the best by far. It was a very personal experience, close to the water and elements, the views were fantastic. Lots of snacks and drinks included, the crew was great. We will be back on board the Adventure Cat for sure.. |

| This was a great tiem to take a friend out and myself to an awesome ride to ,under the Golden Gate Bridge. I was just as suprised when we went out to Alcatraz and boated around it. It was truely a wonderful time. Thank You and I will come again. |

| recommend for a fun and quick boat ride. staff was professional but friendly. nothing too exciting about the appetizers, but plentiful nonetheless. best part is the views of the golden gate. |

| We chose the sunset cruise because nothing beats the the evening light on the bay :) but were a bit sad that we wouldn' t pass below the Golden Gate bridge then according to the website. We were surprised that we didn't go to Sausalito, but actually to the Golden Gate bridge. It is a bit rougher, but also way more spectacular and was a welcome surprise :) The boat itself is very spacious and you definitely won't regret having done the trip. It was clear to see in everyone's eyes. Weather will make a difference. I was in the same week twice and once with jacket, once with short sleeves. |

| I'd never been on a Catamaran and it was very very cool. We had a windy, choppy day and the boat just cuts through the waves - it's wild!
The snacks were good, and the wine was tasty. If you're a local looking for a fun way to show off the bridge and the city views, this is a great option!! |
