Sunset Sail on San Francisco Bay

A perfect evening - sunset sail on a beautiful evening on the Bay. The catamaran was fun and we were able to stand along the railing and talk to other people the whole time, all while enjoying a glass of wine. The crew was terrific, mellow, really friendly, and really competent. It was just a totally fun evening and we can't wait to do it again. Two big thumbs up.

After a long, hard day at the conference, this trip was just the thing to unwind and put things into perspective. We had lots of fast wind, big waves, and wonderful views of the bay. It had been an overcast day but the sun came out to play at sunset and we had a great time! I recommend the CatAdventure!

i had plans to get engaged while in san francisco but didn't know exactly where and how , i did alot of searchig and read alot of reviews about adventure cat. i wasn't sure if they would meet my expectations, boy did they ever, the capitan slowed the sail down just enough under the golden gate to give me plenty of time to propose , the crew was so helpful in taking pictures of us while i was proposing . so not only do we have memories of a life time we also have the pictures . thank you to all the crew of adventure cat we will defenetly come back again and recomend it to everyone we know

This cruise was unbelievable! The crew was fantastic and the boat was awesome! They provided a great bar with light snacks which was just perfect. We listened to a variety of cool tunes while we sailed around Alcatraz past Sausalito, under the Golden Gate Bridge and back with incredible views of San Fran! Seeing a few dolphins was the icing on top of the very delicious cake that is Adventure Cat Sailing Charters. I highly recommend this trip for anyone looking to see the city from a whole new perspective! AMAZING!!

Cruise was on time and Captain Drew and Hans were very polite but a little on the low key side. This is not what you would call a party cruise - far from it. It is a very relaxing activity. The food and beverages have a lot to be desired - chips and dip and bread and cheese. If you are looking for a "romantic sunset cruise" this isn't it - it is more of a slow cold schlep around the bay. Considering the price though - an activity worth doing compared to everything else around town.

I recently took a trip with Adventure Cat on their Sunset Bay cruise. Basically they leave from pier 39, sail past Alcatraz and then sail under the Golden Gate Bridge and back. The sun will usually be setting on your way back from the bridge. Your enjoyment of this trip will most likely depend on the weather. Fur us the skies were clear and it was fairly warm so the trip went very well. It will always be cold on the bay so dress warm but I would imagine if it was cold out to begin with or raining then it would probably not be fun. They do provide jackets you can borrow though if you didn't plan accordingly. The boats they have are quite stable but if you are prone to getting sea sick this may not be for you as it will be somewhat rocky out on the bay. Personally though I think this is all part of the experience and when I saw all the people on the red and white ship doing a similar sunset cruise I was glad I chose the Adventure Cat instead. Overall a great trip, the crew was very nice and the views under the Golden Gate bridge were pretty cool. I would definitely recommend this so long as the weather is good.

The crew was very nice and the food was good but being on the catamaran and being so close to the Golden Gate bridge was the best part!!!

This was my first sunset cruise and it was perfect!!!!!!!!! The staff were friendly and engaging with the passengers! It truely was a wonderful experience and am looking forward to future trips especially when out of town guests visit, this will definitely be on the list of things to do!!!!!!
