Sunset Sail on San Francisco Bay

I love the Adventure Cat and take it often. Until recently, we could get frequent glider cards. I'm local and it's a great incentive. I think this benefit should be available for loyal local sailors. I'll still continue taking the cat, but I was really disappointed.

I surprised my wife with this cruise for our 3rd wedding anniversary. She thought it was very romantic and special. What she didn't know was that I also considered booking a dinner cruise that was going to cost me twice as much! :) If you go on this one, be very careful with your camera. I asked another person on board to take a picture of us. She dropped my camera and it almost goes through the net floor. Thank God it didn't bounce away from the hard center strip that connects the nets. Nevertheless it was a scary moment.

We had a wonderful time on this cruise. While you do get free drinks and some appetizers, you are really paying for the amazing views of the city and the thrill of being on the deck of a beautiful boat as you pass Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge (and even go right underneath). A stunning sunset was an excellent backdrop for the fabulous photos we took. The bonus was picking up two stranded windsurfers and Captain Joey kindly dropped them at a neighbouring beach. Romantic and fun - ther perfect honeymoon activity and a great way to see San Francisco!

The cruise was everything we had hoped it would be and more! Beautiful views and an amazing staff! It was one of the highlights of our trip. We are so glad we booked this excursion!

Was a good trip. The snacks and drinks were available in sufficient quantities. A little bit of information (written or over the microphone) about the ocean, Golden Gate bridge and Alcatraz island would have made it more interesting. I did think that the whole trip was slightly over-priced.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip on Adventure Cat cruise. The bay was beautiful for our sunset cruise, and the crew was very friendly.

Was on my honeymoon and spent the weekend in San Fran. I was born and raised near the FL Keys and have missed the water and boating since moving to Bakersfield 7 years ago. This cruise brought back fond memories of my youth (even if the water and air was a bit colder), plus created a brand new memory with my husband. We had such a good time that I suggested that my parents go when they're in San Fran after us. Be sure to wear "sensible" shoes (loafers or sneakers would be best), take a warm jacket (though they do have cozy loaners available) and wear pants so you can sit on the deck. Sit up top in front for the best experience (but be prepared to move around depending on the spray and the wind). Lay on the nets while going under the bridge. Loved it!

We had a great time. The boat was really cool and there's something to be said for sailing instead of being subject to the noise and vibration of a big motor. The snacks were quality. The crew was fun and professional and timed the sunset trip perfectly.

It was a little chilly, but it remains one of our best times during our week stay in San Francisco. Staff was great and view was wonderful. Thanks again!
