| Our trip was a bachelor party for a mixed group of men. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the trip, especially under the Golden Gate Bridge. Excellent value. Information provided prior to trip on what to wear and expect along with parking and directions were very helpful. Crew was courteous and fun. We would recommend this to anyone looking for fun on the Bay. | ||||||

| Our sunset cruise around Alcatraz and under the Golden Gate Bridge was very enjoyable. Going on a sail boat made it special. The motor was only used to get us out of the dock area. Food was nothing special and the drink choice was limited, but that is a minor factor in the overall enjoyment of the cruise. | ||||||

| I had never been sailing before, and this was a fantastic introduction. We sailed around Alcatrez, under the Golden Gate Bridge, and into the Pacific ocean for a few minutes. The boat had jackets to loan, and seemed knowlegeable. | ||||||

| We LOVED the Sunset Cruise provided by Adventure Cat Sailing Charters! My husband and I have each been to San Francisco at least a dozen times and brought a friend along this time. We have done many activities throughout the city - and this one ranks as one of the highest! We opted for the sunset cruise - a very affordable option at $45 (June '09) which included two drinks and appetizers. We found the crew to be very hospitable at all points throughout our boarding, journey, and landing. We went around Alcatraz, and out just past the Golden Gate Bridge and back. The ride was smooth - a calm bay helped - but the captain and crew clearly knew how to navigate the waves in the interest of the comfort of the customers. This activity offers great views of the city and an opportunity to kick back and relax (often an unknown feeling while in such a great and active city). We look forward to taking this trip again on our next visit. | ||||||

| Andrew and Ghengis were charming and accomodating. We requested that we see porpoise and although Andrew said he counldn't guarentee it, he would try. He succeeded and found us a pod of porpoise playing in the changing tide. what a treat!!! The boys didn't hover but gave us our space to enjoy the elements, which is why we were there. I would come back for a party, a date or alone. | ||||||

| We had a great time. This trip was just the right period of time and the drinks and food was great. Very basic beer and wine service with Costco veggie trays and other cool foods. The boat cruised by Alcatraz and then headed over toward Marin, turn left and went under the Golden Gate. Good music, good friends, and an overall good time. | ||||||

| The tour was wonderful! Thanks for the jackets - would have been miserable without them. The nets were awesome, fun ride. Definitely bringing my family when they come to visit. | ||||||

| I would recommend this cruise to anyone local or as a tourist. Pros: Great views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, San Francisco skyline, etc. Hostess was a great personality, and very friendly. They have jackets on board if you get cold. The boat is clean and newer. The equipment seemed very well-maintained. The cost is quite reasonable. The other passengers were friendly and fun-loving. If you love the wind and the water - this is the tour for you! Opportunities for improvement: They do not allow ANY outside beverages (felt like I was committing a crime secretly sneaking sips from my water bottle). The cruise started a little late but ended almost on time - so it felt like they skimped a bit on the advertised length of 1.5 hours. The captain is quite young, and didn't want us to sit on the life preservers or even have them by our side. It was either put them on or stow them in the seat compartment inside the boat. Well we tried them on, and they are very bulky, restrictive, and uncomfortable. So, we opted for "stowed in the boat". Not very comforting for someone who is a little insecure about being on the water. | ||||||

| The views of San Francisco, Marin and the Golden Gate bridge from the bay were definitely worth the trip. It was freezing cold on the water but a nice warm bread bowl with clam chowder afterwards fixes it right up. I enjoyed the excitement of barreling over waves while passing under the Golden Gate bridge, however I definitely recommend taking something for nausea for those who get motion sickness. | ||||||

| We had a great time with friends. The boat is a good size for a first sailing experience and for kids. It was also the perfect length of time to be out on the water. Definitely recommend this company to anyone who wants to sail on the SF Bay. | ||||||

| I've lived in San Francisco for 15 years and I think this was one of the best things I've ever done. I can't believe it took me so long to get around to going for a ride on the "Ad Cat." It was a blast! | ||||||
