| The catamaran is nicely set up so you can walk outside on the front of the boat, or sit in comfort (and protected from the winds) in the middle. It was cold when the boat was going full speed - they gave us jackets but you should bring a scarf/hat too.Pretty neat to be out there seeing all the sights from the water, and riding under the golden gate. It wasn't clear to me from the website how many people fit on the boat; in our trip there were about 25 people, but there was plenty of room for everyone. | ||||||

| Birthday cruise for friend was thoroughly enjoyable for friends and family of the birthday girl. It was a different and fun way to celebrate with friends. Crew was very friendly and fun. I highly recommend it. | ||||||

| I definitely recommend Adventure Cat to singles, families and friends. We had about 20 people in our group for my Birthday celebration and everyone had a great time. We lucked out with gorgeous weather and could see the views even better. It gets a bit windy but there is seating in the back and in the inside cabin of the boat (not recommended for weak stomachs though). It was nice to hang out/lay out in the front against the windows and trampoline. Watch out for massive splash zones in the front and sides of the boat. I would definitely go back again. | ||||||

| We were lucky enough to have really nice weather, which might make a difference. The boat was large enough to have room to move around and to get inside if you got too cold (or wet), but small enough to really feel that you're out on the water (and to get wet, if you want to). The crew was friendly and competent. There's enough cheese and crackers to go around, and you get two drinks (beer, wine, or nonalcoholic) included. We cruised close by Alcatraz, under the Golden Gate bridge, and back around the other side of Alcatraz. Definitely a fun way to spend some time on the Bay. | ||||||

| Had planned a jam packed send off weekend for a much loved friend who was bidding so long to the single life. There was lots of late night partying scheduled for the weekend, but, a few of the core group wanted to do something simple, fun & completely San Francisco on Saturday afternoon. Even though the majority of us were still hurting from the evening before we were all determined to make it down to the Pier 39 to enjoy a little while on the water. Check in was very relaxed. One of the group was running late & we were all a little disappointed that she wouldn't make it. The staff reassured us that she had plenty of time to make the cruise. We made her run anyways...ya know, for the laughs. Once out on the water the views were amazing. When the wind got a little much we'd find our way below to enjoy a bevie at the bar. Very comfortable & warm. Didn't stay down there long though. The view as you pass under the GG Bridge was awe inspiring. This was definitely the highlight of a very packed weekend. | This was our first sunset cruise on AdventureCat, and our first time on the smaller catamaran. We have often taken these cruises during the day, and always enjoy them. This time we brought a visitor from Canada, who loved it. The sunset version was great, and the smaller cat is more nimble. This means more splashing of water through the nets in front, but that's the point, after all. My only recommendation: be SURE to bring warm windproof clothing! We appreciate AdventureCat's making jackets available for a few of us. Plus the munchies were nice as well. We will do this again, for sure. | ||||||

| We had an enjoyable time -- given the summer longer days, however, the Summer Sunset Cruise didn't really prove to be very much sunset. viewing That said, the weather was lovely, our view of the Bay was clear and, in particular, seeing the Golden Gate Bridge from the view we had traveling below it was very cool! | ||||||

| enjoyed the cruise very much, going at sunset provided unique picture opportunities of the golden gate bridge and bay. very cold and windy you will definatley need a jacket, but the crew had jackets that could be worn during cruise. | ||||||

| We loved this trip and thought it was a great way to finish a day in SF. We will go again and take our out-ot-town visitors with us. There was no narration on the trip which is fine for the locals or Americans that knkow the area. But if you had foreign guests, then another option might be better. But for us, this was great. It was colder than we expected. But they had jackets we could borrow. Nice refreshments too. | ||||||

| I had great expectations with the sunset cruise but it was a barely "ok" cruise!!! The adventure cat was clean, spacious in that regards,had good hors d'oeuvre, wine and beer but for a ride that's not even FREE for children under 7 was overall very lame. This was supposed to be a SUNSET cruise, and the area was soo densely covered with fog that they should have rescheduled.....but they went ahead...NOT a ray of sun did we manage to see. They took was past Alcatraz, under the Golden gate bridge but the crew would not tell us where we were until we asked them. We were completely muddled in the fog. For this kind of cruise, you can pay a lot less and still manage to get much more out of your money. Weather is a major factor in SF....no doubt, but $47 for adults and children (even a 3 year old) this was an ABSOLUTE waste! I do not know about the DAY cruises but the evening cruise was bad. Sorry. Very Pricey for the service provided. | ||||||

| Having never been on a cruise we were not sure what to expect. We chose the Adventure Cat because we wanted a casual ride that was not to "touristy". It was even better than we had hoped! The ride was casual with very comfortable seating. We liked that the capitan and crew answered any questions asked, but did not speak constantly over a loud speaker (as we hear on other boats going by). We will definately go on another ride on the Adventure Cat when we visit San Fransisco again - it was the best part of our visit! | ||||||

| great ride--take a sweatshirt with a hoodie & windbreaker; don't sit in front left unless you want to get wet; sit on the net close to the middle; enjoy the beautiful scenery. would recommend it to all of any ages, well, no babies--no sea sickness; it's definitely worth the money!!! It's a best buy!! | ||||||
