| I live in the bay area and had houseguests from Germany and Mexico. I decided to sign up for the 3pm cruise (sunsets are rare due to the fog) and it was fantastic! Everyone in our group (females ranging in age from 20 to 40) thought this cruise was one of the most memorable things we did in San Francisco! The crew was very nice, the ride was exhilarating - so nice not to be smelling petro fumes! The cabin was nice for those who wanted shelter from the wind, but we all loved the feeling of being out on the water, with the wind in our hair! Great views and a bargain for the money! We all highly recommend this adventure! Just be sure to wear wind-breaker jackets - it does get a bit cold after a while. | ||||||

| The boat tour is a good length, and enable great views of the city as well as the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and other neat stuff in the bay. We went for my sisters birthday, and it was a great idea! | ||||||

| There was a large group of young European tourists with an advisor on board with us, but they were harmless. The appetizers that were served were less than desireable...cut up vegetables, pre-packaged dips and crackers/sliced bread. Something any teenager could have prepared on paper plates...and the drink choices were canned soda, a few domestic beers, and a choice of Beringer red or white wine. Don't go expecting much food or drink wise. The trip took us past Alcatraz and under the Golden Gate Bridge...they stopped so that everyone could get pictures and the sunset was gorgeous. Even though it was August-it was very cold out on the Bay. Dress warm-layers are probably a good idea and expect to get wet if you stay outside in the front...but they do warn you about this. The Bay waters can be rough-so it can be a bit rocky from time to time. Overall though, we had a great time and it's a great way to see the bridge close up. | ||||||

| My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our cruise on AdventureCat. The weather was fantastic and the ride allowed us to take in the fresh air and the beautiful scenery around the bay area. Like other reviewers stated, the catamaran sells only about 50 tickets so the group was not overly large. We found plenty of space at the front of the boat and my girls had lots of fun daring to see if some of the water would splash up against them. We were pleasantly surprised that snacks are very reasonably priced. Drinks and chips were only $1 each. I have a weak stomach so didn't know if I would do well on a 1.5hrs cruise. But the ride on the catamaran was extremely smooth and I had no problems whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting San Francisco. In fact, next time I go, I would sign up again! | ||||||

| After taking other big cat rides in the Virgin Islands, Great Barrier Reef and Hawaii, I was so excited to see that it was an option in San Francisco. We weren't disappointed. Just be sure to wear layers especially in warmer weather as some spots are warm and others quite cold. When reviewing our day, our six year old said this was the most memorable part of the day. Even the big splash of water we got from the wake of another sail boat at the end of our ride turned out to be a funny memory we'll all keep! | ||||||

| ADVENTURECAT WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. THE CAPTAIN AND CREW ARE VERY HOSPITABLE, AND THE BOAT RIDE UNDER THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE WAS BREATHTAKING. 90-MINUTE SAILING TRIP FOR $25 IS AN EXCEPTIONAL BARGAIN FOR A SATURDAY OR SUNDAY AFTERNOON. | ||||||

| 3 of us went on the Sunset cruise and had a great time. We were on the Adventure Cat 2. This is a sailboat cruise, and I'm glad to say that the crew likes to sail! We did motor for a few minutes into the wind towards the Golden Gate, but it didn't take away from the trip at all. Definitely dress warmly- our day was a beautiful and warm day by SF standards, but by the time 6:30 rolled around it was cooler than usual. A sweatshirt wasn't quite enough. I'll definitely do the trip again, and recommend it to anyone considering any kind of boat tour of the bay. Which brings me to one last thought- we got to see the "other" boats that do tours, and I can only describe them as ferries- big, hulking, metal giants, stuffed with people. To me, they looked much less appealing! | ||||||

| The sail boat cruise was one of the highlights on our trip to San Francisco. Great views of the Bay area and the Golden Gate Bridge. Would recommend to anyone, but make sure to dress warmly even in the summer. | ||||||

| Trip was great. Late July date meant moderate temps (but bring a jacket/sweater). Cruise went all the way to Golden Gate, so lots of photo ops from different perspectives. Crew was knowledgeable and frindly. Would recommend to anyone. | ||||||

| All of the guides were great!! I had a wonderful time but I think it would have been better if I went on the 3pm instead of the 1pm. because the fog cleares later on in the day. Other than that it was alot of fun!! | ||||||

| We were a group of 26 celebrating a 40th birthday and everyone enjoyed the trip immensly. It was fantastic...the boat was comfortable and large, the scenery...well, what can you say?! San Francisco, East Bay views, Alcatraz Island up close, Sausalito, and THEN sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge was phenomenol! The staff was courteous and helpful. My only complaint was that we had some friends try to get tickets online last minute and they got a message that the trip was sold out and some of them didn't come. As it turned out, you could purchase tickets once you were boarding. So, a few of our friends missed out. My suggestion would be to have information on your website about purchasing tickets in person. Thank you! | ||||||
