| It was an fantastic way to spend the evening. The ride was great, the view of the Golden Gate Bridge was great. The beer, wine & snacks were tasty and just right. We were a little disappointed that the weather did not cooperate because the fog rolled in and we had no spectacular sunset but then that's the way the weather goes in San Francisco. We would recommend it to anyone and will do it again the next time we are there. | ||||||

| We were lucky enough to have really nice weather, which might make a difference. The boat was large enough to have room to move around and to get inside if you got too cold (or wet), but small enough to really feel that you're out on the water (and to get wet, if you want to). The crew was friendly and competent. There's enough cheese and crackers to go around, and you get two drinks (beer, wine, or nonalcoholic) included. We cruised close by Alcatraz, under the Golden Gate bridge, and back around the other side of Alcatraz. Definitely a fun way to spend some time on the Bay. | ||||||

| My girlfriend and I took the sunset cruise on Saturday July 26th. We had a great time! The bay was choppy (as always from what I'm told) and it was windy, but as long as you have your jacket it's a great trip. Alcatraz was great to see close up, and then we headed out to the Golden Gate bridge and it was just amazing. Going underneath it with the sun setting and providing fantastic lighting was perfect. The beers were cold, the people were fun, and it was just a great time. Highly recommend this to anyone. | ||||||

| The crew was fantastic, the boat was incredible, and the views of Alcatraz, SF skyline, shoreline and the two bridges were even better than expected. Cannot recommend this cruise enough-its not overcrowded or overpriced. | ||||||

| Sailing on the Adventure Cat was an excellent way to experience the heart of SFO - its bay - and start our trip in thast great city. You'll sail close to Alcatraz and under the Golden Gate bridge. Of course, the skyline views from the bay are stellar. It is much more intimate and exciting than the large "fleet" tours. Heartier souls can get the spray in their faces on the front rail, but there are also two protected cockpits and an ample indoor seating area, too. From a safety perspective, the catamaran design makes for a more stable ride and there are high railings with closely-spaced cross bars so there is no need to worry about the children. My seven-year-old loved the trampolines up front. The captain clearly was a skilled sailor. The winds were incredible but he handled the situation with aplomb. On the "room for improvement" side, I do wish the company allowed passengers to bring their own drinks and snacks, but they are available for purchase. Also, we had a corporate group of 25 on board which gave the trip a booze cruise feel. One of the party had too much to drink and some of his language was off-color, especially for a mixed crowd. And many others dominated the inside cabin (they seemed more interested in the bar than the bay). Adventure Cat should rethink mixing corporate outings with leisure travelers. In the end, I highly recommend Adventure Cat. It is a good value and loads of fun. | ||||||

| get there early to locate the pier and gate.we got there 15 min earlier but missed the ride.no one picked up the phone to help us .i left a message over the voice mail,did recieve a call back next day with an apology and offer to reschedule. on board snacks and drinks are included in the price.have a jacket available ,it gets cold even in the summer months. | ||||||

| Great trip. Nice to sitt on a quiet sailboat without the noisy disel engine. Its like an adventure with a small group of people, dont follow the hords of tourist to the big boats with noisy disel engine that ruins the enviroment, go with this boat. Sweden | ||||||

| We enjoyed the generosity of the crew who seemed very willing to make our trip better. The boat itself was very clean, extremely stable for a sailboat and the practice of sailing around the Bay was a very peaceful and relaxing way of seeing the city of San Francisco, Alcatraz, and the Golden Gate. We would recommend the Sunset Cruise on Adventure Cat to anyone that is going to be sightseeing in the San Francisco area. | ||||||

| This was our first sunset cruise on AdventureCat, and our first time on the smaller catamaran. We have often taken these cruises during the day, and always enjoy them. This time we brought a visitor from Canada, who loved it. The sunset version was great, and the smaller cat is more nimble. This means more splashing of water through the nets in front, but that's the point, after all. My only recommendation: be SURE to bring warm windproof clothing! We appreciate AdventureCat's making jackets available for a few of us. Plus the munchies were nice as well. We will do this again, for sure. | ||||||

| This cruise was an enjoyable departure from the mundane San Fransisco tourist trap. Don't get me wrong I love the city, but it does get ridiculous. The cruise was great we were under sail completely. We met some very nice people, and enjoyed the sites immensely. | ||||||

| Comfortable boat with plenty of room, great tour of the bay at an affordable price. We had three in our party and all had a great time and were able to enjoy at our own pace and preference. Some choose to go out on the deck and get some wind and spray while one of our group wanted to stay inside where it was warmer and much less windy. This cruise will become a standard part of entertaining out of town guest when they visit. | ||||||

| This was a very cozy and enjoyable outing. The staff was very friendly and laid back. The boat was a thrill to ride whether inside the majority enclosed area or out on the bow. Sitting or laying on he cargo nets with the water flowing under you its quite an experience. You'll find some amazing views of the city, alcatraz, and the golden gate bridge. It's a great way to spend an evening and well worth the $45 a person. Only draw back is the foggy san francisco bay. Make sure to check the weather report for clear skies to get the best city and sunset views. | ||||||
