| I booked this trip for a fathers day weekend activity for myself and my two daughters. Noone in our group had ever been on a sailboat before. The experience of the wind on our faces, the popping of the sail in the wind, the water splashing off the boat as it glided so gently through the water, were memories we will talk about for along time to come, I think the ultimate sight was when the captain turned the boat around after going under the San Francisco Bay bridge. The sun was beginning to set. God couldn't have done it any better. The sun was resting just above the mountainous region beyond the San Francisco Bay bridge. What an awesome sight !! The Bay bridge in the foreground, the sun setting on the mountains in the background. Picture perfect. Anyone reading this must book the evening cruise if you appreciate the gifts so precious we take for granted everyday of sight, sound, and most of all the sharing an experience like this with someone whom you love. I say thank you to the captain and crew for a very memorable experience and would do it again if I am ever in the area again. | ||||||

| The cruise was so much fun. My husband and I had never been sailing which was very fascinating. We were going so fast against the wind. The weather on the day we went was perfect for a sunset cruise. The crew was very friendly and provided jackets if you needed them. It was cold after being outside for 10-15 minutes, but well worth it. Be sure to bring a good camera. The sunset with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background is a picture you'll want to keep. We even got to go under the bridge. | ||||||

| Our sunset cruise around Alcatraz and under the Golden Gate Bridge was very enjoyable. Going on a sail boat made it special. The motor was only used to get us out of the dock area. Food was nothing special and the drink choice was limited, but that is a minor factor in the overall enjoyment of the cruise. | ||||||

| We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise...The crew was knowledgeable and friendly. The head was clean and they had a well-stocked snack and beverage bar. There were even jackets for our use (which we needed!). | ||||||

| The trip on a the catamaran was fun. I really liked that there is "no engine" sound -- it's a sailboat! Although the crowd on the boat was mostly a younger set than we were, we enjoyed the ride and would do it again. It was cold out under the Golden Gate bridge, but the crew provided extra jackets for those not dressed warmly enough. I recommend bringing gloves just in case it is cold. | ||||||

| I would recommend this cruise to anyone local or as a tourist. Pros: Great views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, San Francisco skyline, etc. Hostess was a great personality, and very friendly. They have jackets on board if you get cold. The boat is clean and newer. The equipment seemed very well-maintained. The cost is quite reasonable. The other passengers were friendly and fun-loving. If you love the wind and the water - this is the tour for you! Opportunities for improvement: They do not allow ANY outside beverages (felt like I was committing a crime secretly sneaking sips from my water bottle). The cruise started a little late but ended almost on time - so it felt like they skimped a bit on the advertised length of 1.5 hours. The captain is quite young, and didn't want us to sit on the life preservers or even have them by our side. It was either put them on or stow them in the seat compartment inside the boat. Well we tried them on, and they are very bulky, restrictive, and uncomfortable. So, we opted for "stowed in the boat". Not very comforting for someone who is a little insecure about being on the water. | ||||||

| I didn't know how I would like such a trip - but it was wonderful! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a different way to water tour the wharf area. An unexpected, memorable experience. | ||||||

| I'd never been sailing on the bay before. This was a great way to get out on the bay and experience the wind in the sails. 1.5 hours was just the right length for my 3.5 year old son and 89 year old grandmother. Inside the cabin was comfortable and on deck was exciting albeit windy. I loved that the crew provided warm jackets because even though we all brought jackets it was colder then we expected on the bay. It was a relaxing excursion I recommend to any age. | ||||||

| My partner and I have taken the Adventure Cat Bay Cruise twice now, and find it is one of the great underrated activities in San Francisco. The craft is stable in the stiffest winds and the crew unfailingly friendly. The cruise has a low-key feel, helped along by the reasonable bar. The itinerary--around Alcatraz, under the Golden Gate Bridge, and back to Pier 39--provides great sights, and at 90 minutes the cruise seems just the right duration. | ||||||

| We had booked this outing well in advance and were glad we did. The view from the Bay was just Awsome!! We had our 3 year old daughter with us and she just enjoyed the trip. The crew as amazing and very courtious. We would definately do it again and recomend it to anyone who wants to have a relaxing adventure away for everything else. Well worth the money we spent. | ||||||
