| Good trip but could have been enhanced with some commentary provided during the sail. Also, even on a relatively warm day in San Francisco it was extremely cold! | ||||||

| The crew was very hospitable. The snacks were better than expected. The trip was just as brief as scheduled. The route did not offer much of a "sunset" view of the sun but it did show off the city in the light of the setting sun. | ||||||

| I enjoyed the sunset cruise through the bay. The price seemed to be a little steep at first, but I found it very fair considering how expensive everything is in SF. Plus, they give each guest two drinks and a buffet of snacks is set out. You can sit inside or out, no pressure to do either. By far, this trip gives you the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge! I recommend this to anyone who does not get sea sick. | ||||||

| We had a great time on this cruise. I had read previous reviews before booking this cruise. Info I found very helpful was to go prepared with a jacket! It was quite windy but we were expecting this. The cruise itself was fabulous. We enjoyed the smaller sailboat type cruise over the larger boats with a lot of people. If you enjoy being on the water and smaller crowds, this cruise is for you. The views of the city and the Golden Gate Bridge were excellent. A note on the drinks and appetizers...I read previous reviews with complaints on the snacks and drinks. We were going on this cruise to see the sites, not for the snacks, so we found the snacks and beverages to be a bonus! And they on top of that, they weren't bad! Happy Sailing! | ||||||

Great Way to Experience SF Bay

| This is the second time I have been on the Adventure Cat. It is a great way to see Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge and it's much more fun than the ferries as you get closer to the action! It is also great value as you get some tasty nibblies and a couple of drinks as part of the package, you can also buy more drinks on board if you want. For those who want a bit of adventure try walking out of the nets but watch out if you are near the edge as you could get wet (I certainly did). Make sure you wear warm clothes as it gets very cold out on the water but there are some jackets on board to borrow if you need them. I would definately recommend this trip to anyone visiting San Francisco. | ||||||

| We've been on SF Bay Cruises before. This one is a cut above the normal. Being on a sailing cat with a smaller group and more individualized service was wonderful. Highly recommended. | ||||||

| Our group included myself, my 5 year old twins and two friends. We all had a superb time. The kids loved being out on the Bay and sitting in the captain's chair and sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge. It was so much fun. | ||||||

| I planned the activity as part of a 50th birthday celebration. Our group of 5 included ages between 40 and 75 and everyone had a great time. The captain and crew were pleasant and accomodating. The boat was a nice size and not overcrowded and the drinks and hours d'oeuvres were a nice addition to the boat ride. I have visited San Francisco many times and found this to be one of the most enjoyable tourist type activities I have done. I will bring out of town visitors back for this. I also felt that it was a good value. | ||||||

| We went on the Catamaran with my kids 13 & 16, my 88 year old mother, myself and husband whose birthday we were celebrating. EVERYONE enjoyed themselves! I found it was very fun and satisfying going under the Golden Gate Bridge. I've been on the Bay many times in my 20 years living here, but never under the bridge which is a must do, now that I know. I thought it was a great value: we took the sunset tour which included hors d'oeuvre and 2 drinks per person. I'm sure we will do this again with our family, and friends. We highly recommend it. | ||||||

| This is the third time I have taken an out of towner on the adventure cat and It is a great and affordable way to get out on the bay! The crew this time seemed a bit too cool for school. Previously the guides talked to us a little about sites we where about to embarc upon. These guys said as little as possiable and the behaved down right crabby? I wanted to say -Dude try sitting in an office all day pointing and clicking your life away Why such much attitude? how can they not like their jobs? None of the guests even knew there drinks available until they saw mine. I really felt like a tourist annoying the locals. This was a far different experience from the the previous 2 x's I took my out of town guests. The rest of the passengers probably did not notice their aloofness, because they sail ride it self is so beautiful. The blonde guy with the full beard was happy and personable. | Sailing with Adventure Cat was a most pleasurable experience. The ride was smooth and relaxing. The crew was extremely friendly and down to earth. The scenes were breathtaking and we arrived at the Golden Gate just at sunset. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to experience being on the bay at sunset. A class act all the way around. i will definitely return. | ||||||

| As we watched tour boats go by, full of people crammed at the rails, we were delighted to be sailing quietly and close to the water. Delightful to be under sail with quiet and only the views to see. We plan to go again - and especially anytime we have other family members in town who want to sail on the Bay. | ||||||

| My husband and I booked this cruise as a special outing during our trip to San Francisco. We loved it! Even though the weather was cool in March, the covered part of the boat was warm and there were extra jackets passengers could use. We enjoyed the sights throughout the cruise, the appetizers were very tasty, and the crew was very friendly and knowledgable. We definitely recommend the sunset cruise! | ||||||
