| I loved the trip - sailing is much more exciting than I'd ever expected. Two words of advice, though - 1. keep kids under 7 or so home - my four year old got wet in the first 10 minutes and spend the rest of the ride inside drinking hot chocolate. 2. Listen to the captain (he warned us that those in front get wet - HE WASN'T KIDDING)! It was foggy and in the low 60's, and we were dressed for summer weather. Had to stop at Gap across from Pier 39 for a change of clothes. Highly recommend this trip - with the caveats, of course. | ||||||

| I took my boyfriend on the sunset cruise for his birthday. It was a surprise to him and he loved it. The boat was much nicer than a ferry (which is a horrible way to take a cruise) and it was great when we sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge. Decent food, drinks were alright though it would be nice if there were cocktails rather than just beer and wine. Crew was friendly. It was pretty chilly and incredibly windy until we got the warm air off the mountains of Sausilito. This was the best part of the cruise! Perfect weather, no wind, and the sun setting below the mountains. It was a very romantic trip and I would recommend it to any couple. I don't think I'd have enjoyed it if I were with my family. It is definitely an intimate experience in my opinion. | ||||||

| Had great time with family on the 65' catamaran/Adventure Cat. The crew was skilled and helpful, the cruise itself on time and easy to find on Pier 39. Had originally scheduled for the 1pm cruise but had some heavy traffic on hwy 24 westbound. called en route and was able to change cruise to 3:00pm without missing a beat. Would recommend to locals and visitors alike. Word of caution, though. Went on Aug 28th, a very warm day in SF at 87 degrees which quickly dropped into 60s on the chilly bay waters. Adventure Cat keeps jackets on board for just such occasions. | ||||||

| It was a great time. The views were awesome and there were only about 20 people on the spacious catamaran. We did go on a weekday. It was on a clear day and it was a blast. The only small complaint I had was that there is no PA system and that a little talking from the 2 crew members to explain what we were passing would be nice. Although if you want no one talking and just yourself and your family/spouse/other then this is definitely a great trip. Definitely better than those double decker harbor cruises. | ||||||

| Friendly staff, well worth the money. We thought it was a great trip around the bay, it gave us a close up look of Acatraz, Sausalito, and the bridge. It was very nice. We got a rather cold and windy day, which made it hard to stay out on the deck, but it was well worth it. | ||||||

| I highly recommend this short jaunt around the bay at sunset. The views are spectacular and the staff are capable and friendly. The only compliant we had was that the there was a large group of teenagers on board, making it slightly crowded and noisy (my last trip was with a much smaller group). | ||||||

| My review of this activity is that this was my second year in a row that I have done this. I am not from the Bay Area but visit there every August. This catamaran ride is a chance to relax and enjoy the bay without all the crowds and noise of the city. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this ride to everyone visiting the Bay Area. | ||||||

| This was an extremely enjoyable sunset cruise. I can think of no better way to enjoy the Bay and to see the Golden Gate bridge up close. There was no commentary to point out what we were seeing, but that didn't really matter to us; just thought I should point it out incase others want a guided tour of the Bay. I suspect also that much of our enjoyment was due to the very fine weather we experienced - sunny, 80 degrees, water as calm as it gets - and that this might not be quite such a pleasant cruise in heavy fog, 60 degrees, choppy. Obviously that's not something the tour company can do anything about, but bear it in mind when deciding on the tour. The catamaran does have a well sheltered comfortable cabin which would be fine for poorer weatherm but the experience overall would not be so good. | ||||||

| If you like the wind in your hair and being close to the waves, take this cruise! It is cold, but they provide jackets if you need them. We saw jellyfish, dolphins, and sea lions. Not to mention sailing under the Golden Gate bridge. Our 10 year-old loved it! | ||||||

| I invited a few friends to join myself and a friend visiting from Ireland. We felt immediately welcomed and there was a joyful sense of commaraderie with our fellow passengers...a sort of "we're all in this together" vibe. It was a beautiful, typical, San Francisco evening. The Bay was relatively calm but our Captain made sure we hit enough swells to make everyone go "Whoa!". We were on the sunset cruise, with complimentary drinks and snacks. I managed the red wine without spilling a drop (until a friend backed into me), but I had trouble navigating the wine, my balance and the snacks. The snacks were a little bit boring anyway - of the chips and salsa variety - so I avoided them. Besides, we weren't there for the chips and salsa - it was the fresh air, a chance to be under the Golden Gate, the sense of adventure for someone who spends most of her time on terra firma. It was a great evening that I recommend to anyone with guests visiting the Bay Area for the first time. We followed our AdventureCat experience with hot Irish Coffees and a good meal - a perfect evening. | ||||||

| I would tell all people to take this tour , we very much enjoyed it . If you take the night cruise like we did dress warm ,it is a little chilly and windy if the fog is rolling in. Nice views to everything in the bay. | ||||||

| The sail on the Adventure Cat was an excellent experience. The crew was very helpful , polite and professional. The weather was a little windy, foggy and cold which dampened the experience somewhat but this could not be predicted and in fact expected this time of year. The food served was good and the sail was a very memorable experience for all. Our entire group had a great time. Thank you. | ||||||
