| The sunset sail was a memorable way to experience the Bay area sights...just make yourself comfortable enough to enjoy it. We were there on a sunny Saturday afternoon & almost froze, even with a coat & pashmina shawl. My husband commented that he needed a coozie & gloves to keep his hands warm enough to hold a drink. A hood or hat would have also helped. Coats are also available on board. One other thing to keep in mind is weather. Some days are so foggy, you can't see anything. If you have your heart set on this outing, schedule it at beginning of your trip in case it is cancelled due to weather. I understood when I booked it that it was non-refundable if I cancelled. But I did not realize that if there were a cancellation due to weather, I could only be issued credit for a later tour. All in all, very professional, courteous crew. Much more intimate than the other sunset cruises offered by other companies. | ||||||

| Great ride, was over way too soon! Started out and returned exactly on time. I was surprised at how smooth & steady it was. Was very glad to see that the trip is completely under sail, except for immediately leaving & entering the harbor. The crew did a great job and there was an overall congenial atmosphere. | ||||||

| My husband and I really enjoyed taking this cruise. It gave us a great view of the bay and the Golden Gate bridge. The only downside, for us, was that there was no "narration" on the trip. Being from out of town, we weren't always sure what we were looking at. | ||||||

| Very fun ride. Can get a little cold so dress in layers. Nice snacks and drinks were available on the boat. This is a very smooth ride. The catamaran cuts right through the water. The boat also has a sheltered area so you can escape from the wind if desired. I would definately do this again and highly recommend it. The captain and staff were very nice and personable. | ||||||

| I highly, highly recommend this. I grew up in the sf bay area and this was an entirely new and refreshing way to see the bay. The sites are gorgeous, the crew is nice and every moment of the trip is memorable. | ||||||

| I've been living in the bay area over 3 years now, and my boyfriend's visit from out of town prompted me to look into the Adventure Cat tours. We were unlucky in the weather department: the rain, fog and gray skies made for a less than visually stunning sunset. Nevertheless, the views of the city and major landmarks were beautiful, and we enjoyed seeing them from the swift-moving catamaran. The friendly crew, small number of passengers, and delicious hors d'oeuvres were additional perks. Overall, this was a fantastic value and a truly unique way to experience the city. I would book this tour again, even with rain in the forecast! I highly recommend it! | ||||||

| We have been on the Hornblower cruises and the ferry cruises on the bay, but this was the best by far. It was a very personal experience, close to the water and elements, the views were fantastic. Lots of snacks and drinks included, the crew was great. We will be back on board the Adventure Cat for sure.. | ||||||

| If you are looking for a great value and a simple cruise around the bay, this is it. The captian and crew were very nice and the boat was awesome. It was uncrowded and relaxing. They even supplied jackets for those of us not prepared for the weather. You have full roam of the boat while sailing and can choose to be outside or in. When we come back to San Fran we will do it again. | ||||||

| My husband and i are living for a few months in Berkeley, we love the bay area! I think a boat trip should be on everybody´s to do list when in town. Why sailing?, because it is very special on the bay. We really enjoyed our trip. It was a very beautiful day, but i was freezing, even with my jacket! They have some jackets on the boat too. The crew was not very nice, for me the only con. This trip is great for couples and groups! Enjoy! | ||||||

| This was a great tiem to take a friend out and myself to an awesome ride to ,under the Golden Gate Bridge. I was just as suprised when we went out to Alcatraz and boated around it. It was truely a wonderful time. Thank You and I will come again. | ||||||

| Our cruise started out with sunny blue skies/ windy weather and ended an hour and a half later with fog and cooler temperatures. Even so, the views were incredible before that fog rolled in. Bring your own warm, hooded jacket and gloves just in case the weather changes. | ||||||
