A perfect Sunday sailing on the Bay

| The Adventure Cat 2 catamaran is spacious and well-maintained-including the friendly crew. It was a perfect day sailing on the Bay-windy and foggy at times. As a local, this is an experience worth repeating again. I highly recommend this outfitter. | ||||||

Wonderful hour and a half

| Perhaps not as adventurous as some of the other charter sailing cruises on the bay, but a wonderful 1.5 hours on the bay with a beautiful pass under the Golden Gate. I would love for it to have been just another half hour longer! This is great when you have someone in town for a brief visit and want to do something different but not that will take up the entire day. We still had time for chowder bread bowls and a beer before the visit was over. | ||||||

| Loved it -- was a thrill! Went with a close guy friend (kinda like a date!) We had a great time. When it gets windy and the tides are high, then you dont want to stand too close by the railing or else your pants will get soaked! Otherwise, it's tons of fun! They provide jackets too! :) Only $30 for 1.5 hours-- what a bargain! will do again soon!!! | ||||||

| My husband and I drove the coast of california and oregon, and we loved San Fransisco!! Although it was chilly and foggy, this sailboat cruise was amazing. Great wine and great munchies! Loved the salsa! It just happened to clear up for us as the boat stopped and the sun set! Perfect. We then went inside for more wine and danced to bob marley! Would do it again! | ||||||

| I took a 9 year old boy out for a fun afternoon @ Fisherman's Warf and Pier 39. We booked the sailing trip and it was our highlight of the day!!! He helped pull the main sail and took the helm with the captain at his side. He was thrilled with the adventure. I highly recommend the sailing trip. Great experience for all. Dress warm but they do have some jackets for guests (non kid size ~ ) | ||||||

| My husband and I spent 3 days in SF for our 10 year anniversary. This was our favorite adventure! The crew were so friendly and took time to talk with the guests - we learned so many things about sailing from Hans! The music and food were great. Both of us enjoy photography and since the catamaran's course zig-zagged back and forth across the bay we had opportunities to shoot several subjects from multiple views and came back with some outstanding photos! I loved that we went under the Golden Gate bridge, and we even steered right through a whole fleet of other sailboats! We enjoyed travelling with a smaller group - I would guess there were only about 30 people on board - and loved that we were so close to the water - you could never get this thrill on a ferry or big dinner cruise boat. Outstanding! | ||||||

| This was a great tour with a very good crew. The scenery was beautiful, the food and drink were very nice, which made it all worth the price of the ticket. One note, it is cold on the water so remember to dress warm although AdventureCat does provide jackets. | ||||||

| We took the AdventureCat several years ago and really enjoyed it. At that time, they did not offer warm coats, so we came prepared this time. It does get very cold on the water, but there is warm cocoa or tea below deck and as I said, they now offer warm coats for those unprepared (hard to believe it can be 90 degrees in San Jose and 62 in San Francisco). Our relatives were from out of state and repeated told us what a great time they had. The crew was very casual and you are free to move about all you like. | ||||||

| This was well worth it. The trip is more than a reasonable price. Be sure to bring proper clothing as the temperature was pretty cold. The views were amazing and the staff was super friendly. The sites of the bay were gorgeous and I wouldn't mind doing it again. Awesome trip for couples. | ||||||

BETTER THAN ANY BOAT TRIP

| I have been on many boat trips over the years, but none to match with the Adventure Cat, and an adventure it was. We were informed that we should dress up warm, and we did. The Adventure cat had approximately 48 people on it, this made the trip feel more individual and friendly, the staff were excellent. The trip out in the bay was a little choppy, but you felt safe on board, and it was lovely to see her set "sail". At times myself and my wife held firm on to the railings, but felt exciliarated when sailing underneath the Golden Gate bridge which proved a highlight of our holiday to California. We would highly recommend this to anyone considering it. Thank you for lovely memories. | ||||||
