Our favorite SF adventure
Wed, Aug 13, 08   6:30 PM peckinpaugh Female 30-39 Domestic Tourist(s) Couple on a Date
My husband and I spent 3 days in SF for our 10 year anniversary. This was our favorite adventure! The crew were so friendly and took time to talk with the guests - we learned so many things about sailing from Hans! The music and food were great. Both of us enjoy photography and since the catamaran's course zig-zagged back and forth across the bay we had opportunities to shoot several subjects from multiple views and came back with some outstanding photos! I loved that we went under the Golden Gate bridge, and we even steered right through a whole fleet of other sailboats! We enjoyed travelling with a smaller group - I would guess there were only about 30 people on board - and loved that we were so close to the water - you could never get this thrill on a ferry or big dinner cruise boat. Outstanding!

My husband and I drove the coast of california and oregon, and we loved San Fransisco!! Although it was chilly and foggy, this sailboat cruise was amazing. Great wine and great munchies! Loved the salsa! It just happened to clear up for us as the boat stopped and the sun set! Perfect. We then went inside for more wine and danced to bob marley! Would do it again!

A perfect Sunday sailing on the Bay

The Adventure Cat 2 catamaran is spacious and well-maintained-including the friendly crew. It was a perfect day sailing on the Bay-windy and foggy at times. As a local, this is an experience worth repeating again. I highly recommend this outfitter.

Was on my honeymoon and spent the weekend in San Fran. I was born and raised near the FL Keys and have missed the water and boating since moving to Bakersfield 7 years ago. This cruise brought back fond memories of my youth (even if the water and air was a bit colder), plus created a brand new memory with my husband. We had such a good time that I suggested that my parents go when they're in San Fran after us. Be sure to wear "sensible" shoes (loafers or sneakers would be best), take a warm jacket (though they do have cozy loaners available) and wear pants so you can sit on the deck. Sit up top in front for the best experience (but be prepared to move around depending on the spray and the wind). Lay on the nets while going under the bridge. Loved it!

The catamaran is nicely set up so you can walk outside on the front of the boat, or sit in comfort (and protected from the winds) in the middle. It was cold when the boat was going full speed - they gave us jackets but you should bring a scarf/hat too.Pretty neat to be out there seeing all the sights from the water, and riding under the golden gate. It wasn't clear to me from the website how many people fit on the boat; in our trip there were about 25 people, but there was plenty of room for everyone.

We went on a Sunset Cruise and it was fabulous. I brought along the only children on the tour (a 15 year old girl and a 5 year old boy). I was a little concerned about my young son enjoying himself, behaving, and generally not being disruptive to the other guests since he was going to be the only child. No worries though. Once we got under way, it was smooth sailing! The crew were so pleasant and accomodating. The Captain answered all of my son's many questions about sailing and his career choice with a smile. It truly was the highlight of our entire trip! It certainly shows in all the pictures taken during the cruise. We were all smiles. Money well spent in my opinion. Loved it! My girlfriend and I took the sunset cruise on Saturday July 26th. We had a great time! The bay was choppy (as always from what I'm told) and it was windy, but as long as you have your jacket it's a great trip. Alcatraz was great to see close up, and then we headed out to the Golden Gate bridge and it was just amazing. Going underneath it with the sun setting and providing fantastic lighting was perfect. The beers were cold, the people were fun, and it was just a great time. Highly recommend this to anyone.

The crew was fantastic, the boat was incredible, and the views of Alcatraz, SF skyline, shoreline and the two bridges were even better than expected. Cannot recommend this cruise enough-its not overcrowded or overpriced.

Bay Cruise for Bachelorette Weekend
Sat, Jul 26, 08   1:00 PM a24avr_sf Female 30-39 Local Group of Friends
Had planned a jam packed send off weekend for a much loved friend who was bidding so long to the single life. There was lots of late night partying scheduled for the weekend, but, a few of the core group wanted to do something simple, fun & completely San Francisco on Saturday afternoon. Even though the majority of us were still hurting from the evening before we were all determined to make it down to the Pier 39 to enjoy a little while on the water. Check in was very relaxed. One of the group was running late & we were all a little disappointed that she wouldn't make it. The staff reassured us that she had plenty of time to make the cruise. We made her run anyways...ya know, for the laughs. Once out on the water the views were amazing. When the wind got a little much we'd find our way below to enjoy a bevie at the bar. Very comfortable & warm. Didn't stay down there long though. The view as you pass under the GG Bridge was awe inspiring. This was definitely the highlight of a very packed weekend. Thanks ya'll!

Great trip. Nice to sitt on a quiet sailboat without the noisy disel engine. Its like an adventure with a small group of people, dont follow the hords of tourist to the big boats with noisy disel engine that ruins the enviroment, go with this boat. Sweden
