| I was escorting 5 family members (ages 14 through 53) from Norway around the San Francisco area, and the best event we had was the bay cruise. Wish I had known of this cruise in past years. Expect me in future years. | ||||||

| Loved the cruise. Would have preferred slightly more info along the journey. Only time any of the crew talked was prior to departure (or if you went up to the one on one). Would have been nice to hear a bit more info about the things we saw along the way but the ride was fantastic. | ||||||

| I could have lasted longer - so good it was. A great idea to discover a small part of the bay (but with Alcatraz island and the Golden Gate bridge) ta the rythm and speed of a large size catamaran. A good break with all the hazzle of a city like San Francisco. | ||||||

| Having been married for 22 years, this cruise was the highlight of our first vacation WITHOUT the kids in 17 years. As a romance author, I know romantic moments quite well, and this cruise was beyond even my vivid imagination. All of my expectations were EXCEEDED when it came to the beauty and romance of the sail. Just being with each other, holding hands and sharing all the beauty this cruise offered is something neither of us will ever forget. While I hope to emulate similar romantic scenes in future books, I truly believe no words can adequately recreate the majesty of the San Francisco Bay, the music of the wind, the bright setting sun, the spray in our faces and the overwhelming magnificence of sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge. It's a "you had to be there," type of moment. This cruise is a once-in-a-lifetime event and thanks to a wonderful crew for making this the highlight of our time in San Francisco. | We went on a Sunset Cruise and it was fabulous. I brought along the only children on the tour (a 15 year old girl and a 5 year old boy). I was a little concerned about my young son enjoying himself, behaving, and generally not being disruptive to the other guests since he was going to be the only child. No worries though. Once we got under way, it was smooth sailing! The crew were so pleasant and accomodating. The Captain answered all of my son's many questions about sailing and his career choice with a smile. It truly was the highlight of our entire trip! It certainly shows in all the pictures taken during the cruise. We were all smiles. Money well spent in my opinion. Loved it! | Sailing on the Adventure Cat was an excellent way to experience the heart of SFO - its bay - and start our trip in thast great city. You'll sail close to Alcatraz and under the Golden Gate bridge. Of course, the skyline views from the bay are stellar. It is much more intimate and exciting than the large "fleet" tours. Heartier souls can get the spray in their faces on the front rail, but there are also two protected cockpits and an ample indoor seating area, too. From a safety perspective, the catamaran design makes for a more stable ride and there are high railings with closely-spaced cross bars so there is no need to worry about the children. My seven-year-old loved the trampolines up front. The captain clearly was a skilled sailor. The winds were incredible but he handled the situation with aplomb. On the "room for improvement" side, I do wish the company allowed passengers to bring their own drinks and snacks, but they are available for purchase. Also, we had a corporate group of 25 on board which gave the trip a booze cruise feel. One of the party had too much to drink and some of his language was off-color, especially for a mixed crowd. And many others dominated the inside cabin (they seemed more interested in the bar than the bay). Adventure Cat should rethink mixing corporate outings with leisure travelers. In the end, I highly recommend Adventure Cat. It is a good value and loads of fun. | ||||||

| We lived in the Bay Area for 10 years and have recently moved to the Midwest (so I still think of myself as a "local" when it comes to being in San Francisco. When we returned to visit friends, we wanted to completely avoid the crowds and tourists at Pier 39, but we wanted our kids to get a good taste of the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. We found the perfect was to achieve this -- Adventure Cat -- and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The boat was immaculate, the captain and crew were friendly, and the sailing was a blast! It felt like a chartered, private sail rather than a crowded tourist trap. The captain allowed the kids (and the adults) the freedom to play around and enjoy being on the open water -- he even let the kids (and the adults) steer home from the bridge. In all, it was fantastic and I would highly recommend it to anyone -- local or tourist. It was so great to sit on our boat with a total of 14 passengers and watch the masses stuff onto a slow-moving tourist ferry. We definitely had the better deal! My kids are 6 & 9, we were with another family with kids ages 7 & 9, and there was even a baby on the boat nestled comfortably on his father's chest in a front carrier. | Great trip. Nice to sitt on a quiet sailboat without the noisy disel engine. Its like an adventure with a small group of people, dont follow the hords of tourist to the big boats with noisy disel engine that ruins the enviroment, go with this boat. Sweden | ||||||

| Fun for all in our group, age 70, 50 and 15! Agreat way to see the Bay the City and the Bridge.....I grew up in SF and never had the chance to see the City and Bay from this perspective. Now I Have lived in PA for forty years, and this provided a great Calif treat! | ||||||

| One day down at the Berkeley Marina, I was looking at the sailboats and thinking how ideal it would be to see the grand sights oft he San Francisco Bay under sail. I checked around with the harbormaster at the marina and with the friends of my son and his family who live in the area.. No one had a clue! Then I happened on this small ad ( or was it an article) )in the local Where magazine for visitors. Wow, exactly what i was looking for . And it was a catamaran,. Nice and stable. And spacious. The boat sailed promptly at 3 o' clock.; for those of us from the East Coast who did not dress warmly enough to stand ourt on the deck, we could sit snugly indoors by the llarge windows. Next visit I will take the sunset cruise. | ||||||

| had a great time! Unlike other packaged things, this one puts you right on the deck of the catamaran, to take it all in. It was wet, wild, & a little choppy-we loved it. | ||||||
