| very amazing adventure around the bay and the crew/staff were very pleasant to be on the boat with. lots of fun and defiantly going to do adventure cat again when i'm in san francisco to get a day without fog ! | ||||||

Good Choice for a scenic cruise of SF Bay

| Had a good time on this 1.5-hr cruise, just wish the weather had been better (very cloudy). Could easily see that if "sunset" had actually happened the trip would have offered some really great photo ops. The food and drinks provided were very good and the crew was very friendly and helpful. We had pre-purchased our tickets online, so we were going as long as the cruise was sailing. You take a gamble on the weather that way but you do get to go. Might try to do this again by booking on a day when the weather is good. Other than that, I would recommend doing this tour to anyone who wants to have a good time and see SF and the Golden Gate from a different perspective. | ||||||

| I have had cruise before in SFO, but this time was superb and amazing. Beautiful boat, clean tidy. I strongly recomment for anyone thinking of a bay cruise. | ||||||

Sailing tour exceeded my expectations

| I had seen the blue and gold fleet cruisers touring the Bay, and thought it looked dull and crowded. I had been to the city many times before, but my partner hadn't, and I wanted him to have a unique experience. So when I saw the sailboat tour, I thought this would satisfy both conditions. And did it ever! The boat was plenty spacious (especially as there were only 7 of us on board that day), and the captain and his mate were both welcoming. We departed on time and were quickly out of the harbor. The day was perfect for sailing - a consistent wind, but not strong enough that the water was choppy. I took advantage of the boat's spare wind breaker jackets to ward off the chill and the spray, and was quite comfortable standing near the bow the entire trip. We rounded Alcatraz, passed close to Sausalito, and then went under the Golden Gate Bridge briefly before heading back into the Bay. Great photo opportunities the whole way. Redocking was quick and efficient, and we were on our way an hour and a half later. Much better than the boring cruisers, and about the same price. | ||||||

| My partner and I have taken the Adventure Cat Bay Cruise twice now, and find it is one of the great underrated activities in San Francisco. The craft is stable in the stiffest winds and the crew unfailingly friendly. The cruise has a low-key feel, helped along by the reasonable bar. The itinerary--around Alcatraz, under the Golden Gate Bridge, and back to Pier 39--provides great sights, and at 90 minutes the cruise seems just the right duration. | ||||||

| As far as I know, this is the only boat that will take you out past the Golden Gate Bridge. It is an incredible experience, especially on a sunny windy day, like we had. I say this as an experienced sailor who has sailed through the gate many times while racing. The boat is very stable and no one in my group (non-sailors) got seasick. You can stay inside if you get cold, but for those that go out on the bow, the experience is unforgettable. If it is windy (and it probably will be, even if it isn't when you board) bring a full rainsuit with overshoes if you have it, and some warm clothes underneath. They have some jackets on the boat, but it was our feet and pants that got wet. Another recommendation: bring polaroid glasses, especially if its cloudy. These will allow you to see all the dolphins and sea lions just under the surface, and there are many. They have drinks and snacks on board, and the crew was very professional | ||||||

| We were looking for something quiet and relaxing to do on our mini-vacation to SF. This cruise was perfect. The bay was beautiful, the weather was beautiful, the boat was great, the crew was friendly. It was smooth sailing! Will definetly do this again! | ||||||

| The sunset cruise with AdventureCat was one of the best (if not the best) things I have ever done on a vacation. The group on the boat was small, so it seemed much more personable than a larger boat with many people. Such a relaxing and beautiful ride around the bay and under the Golden Gate Bridge. Food was very good, and the crew was extremely helpful and nice. The company thought of every way to make us comfortable, especially by providing jackets for those of us who did not plan on the chilly Pacific breeze. We were able to stand out on the deck or stay inside out of the wind, whatever suited us. I would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting the area! | ||||||

| We had booked this outing well in advance and were glad we did. The view from the Bay was just Awsome!! We had our 3 year old daughter with us and she just enjoyed the trip. The crew as amazing and very courtious. We would definately do it again and recomend it to anyone who wants to have a relaxing adventure away for everything else. Well worth the money we spent. | ||||||

| I thought this was a great cost affordable excursion. The kids loved it. Once you get to San Francisco you realize it is not extremely warm, at least not in April. They joked that shopping is the fourth industry and mainly because tourist come and are cold and have to buy clothes. For me being cold almost the whole trip I was so happy when we got on the boat and they had jackets you could wear during the trip. It sounds like a little thing, but it truly made the boat ride enjoyable. | ||||||

| The memories I have from the Adventure Cat Sailing Charter are priceless. It was worth every penny and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I would recommend this to individuals, couples or families looking for some breath taking views of the bay, city and golden gate. | ||||||

| i wanted to celebrate my friend's belated birthday, so i decided to get tickets for adventure cat after reading all the reviews online. I felt that it was well worth it, we had a great time, even though it was cold and foggy. It was great look at the bridge with a slight overcast.. haha.. the hosts are really nice.. tasty hors d’oeuvres and drinks.. really relaxed atmosphere.. with a great view :] .. i recommend it! | ||||||
