| The Sunset cruise was a great way to see San Francisco from a different viewpoint. Our Captain and his "mate" were extremely knowledgeable about the San Francisco area and recommending "must see" places while we spent an extended weekend in the area. My only complaint is that we payed extra for the Sunset Cruise yet we didn't even get to see the sunset or the city all lit up. When I asked, it was due to Daylight Savings happening three weeks early this year and they didn't adjust the departure times accordingly. So, I was disappointed about this. Whoever does the scheduling missed this detail. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone visiting the SanFran area. Thanks! | ||||||

| We had a great time on the Adventure Cat sunset cruise! It really is a good deal since you get snacks (brie and crackers, nuts, veggie tray) and two free drinks. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming. The sunset was so gorgeous...the only deterring factor was how COLD it was. Adventure Cat has coats that you can put on though, and of course you can go below deck to warm up, they really have thought of everything. I think the sunset cruise is best suited for a couple - it's a pretty romantic setup. I will definitely be taking another ride, but next time with my sig other. Highly recommend! | ||||||

| my family (no children) was in town, and my dad had always wanted to sail under the golden gate bridge. i did some searching, easily made reservations onine, and got on the boat at pier 39. there were drinks and great appetizers to start, and the timing was perfect as the sun set right as we were going under the bridge. it couldn't have been better! and when it got cold, there was hot chocolate and indoor seating, plus provided jackets, to keep us warm. great value and unbelievable experience! i highly recommend it to locals and visitors alike! | ||||||

| We just did the sunset cruise this past Saturday. We were a bit worried about the weather, but it ended up being clear and beautiful! The staff was very friendly and the wine was fantastic! I highly recommend this trip! | ||||||

| Hi, We invited friends visiting from overseas and our baby to sail and see the Bay from a unique and spectacular angle. We had enough wind to cut off the engines and just glide. We found the crew professional and friendly just like 3 years ago when I celebrated my soon to be wife's birthday. We will probably come back again when our son is a bit older and family is visiting. | This is the third time I have taken an out of towner on the adventure cat and It is a great and affordable way to get out on the bay! The crew this time seemed a bit too cool for school. Previously the guides talked to us a little about sites we where about to embarc upon. These guys said as little as possiable and the behaved down right crabby? I wanted to say -Dude try sitting in an office all day pointing and clicking your life away Why such much attitude? how can they not like their jobs? None of the guests even knew there drinks available until they saw mine. I really felt like a tourist annoying the locals. This was a far different experience from the the previous 2 x's I took my out of town guests. The rest of the passengers probably did not notice their aloofness, because they sail ride it self is so beautiful. The blonde guy with the full beard was happy and personable. | A friend of mine and I took my 6 year old for a sunset cruise last weekend and had a great time! Yes, it was windy, foggy and chilly, but nothing that a heap of microfleece, a thick jacket, and a tight hat (windy) can't overcome, and it was still beautiful. I agree with a previous writer that it is nice to take in the sights, relax, have a beer, and watch your kid roll around on the big nets at the front of the cat (sorry, no nautical lingo to dazzle you with). Just be an attentive parent, and everyone will have fun. Also--I very much enjoyed the smooth ride of the catamaran! I usually take sailing tours which leave me a little queasy, but the cat pretty much skims the surface, so no seasickness. There is a big inside area to hide in if you find the open bay is too much action for you, conveniently, that's where the bar is! Definately worth the 45 dollars. Have fun! | ||||||

| We came with two couples and my daughter for my Dad's 77th Birthday. What a day! We felt like we were the only ones sailing and the crew was absolutely top notch!! They even bought my dad a free drink for his bday!!! I would recommend this to anyone local or coming from out of town. You board the boat right at Pier 39 amongst all the sea lions that are staying there. Will definitely do this again!!!! | ||||||

| Great ride, was over way too soon! Started out and returned exactly on time. I was surprised at how smooth & steady it was. Was very glad to see that the trip is completely under sail, except for immediately leaving & entering the harbor. The crew did a great job and there was an overall congenial atmosphere. | ||||||

| I recently went on the AdventureCat Bay Cruise and thoroughly enjoyed it. For the price and the duration of the cruise it cannot be beat. The crew was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They even provide nice thick jackets for free just in case it's cold. The boat itself was not big but handled the rough seas of the bay easily. The boat size also made it for a more quaint romantic experience. All in all a great experience. I would definitely do it again and recommend it to anyone. 5 out of 5 stars!! Thanks AdventureCat!! | ||||||

| the sail boat trip me and my girlf friend took was great! the water was nice and the city looks beautiful from the bay. i enjoyed the boat ride becuase i wasnt too bumpy or anything, it was a very smooth ride. it got a little windy by the golden gate bridge, but since the crew had extra jackets on board it wasnt a problem. it was definetly the best trip i had to san fransico in a long time and definelty worth the money. it was so cheap! | ||||||
