Fabulous time was had. A bit windy but the jackets provided were excellent.

My husband and I met another couple for the 90 minute afternoon cruise. Full disclosure, we went on one of those rare hot days in SF summertime. We all thought was a great way to experience the bay. We were up front to get the full experience of the waves and alternated sitting on the webbing and standing against the soft rails. On a day like that we had to have a beer. The view of the bridge was special, the boat went underneath and beyond it. We wore windbreakers over t-shirts and long pants. It was a bit chilly even on a hot day, so on a normal SF day I would advise jeans, and lots of layers with coverage of head and neck. The crew was great. The boat was full but it didn't feel like a crowd because the wind drowned out the people noise. We did not bring our kids but some people brought kids who appeared to be around 8 or 9 and they looked like they were having a great time, and I plan to bring my older kids next time. The 90 minute duration was perfect for people who aren't used to prolonged exposure to the wind. The views were of course fantastic. A great pick me up experience!

We took the Adventure Cat out from Pier 39 for an hour and a half cruise around Alcatraz over twds Sausalito, back twds the Palace of Fine Arts, out just beyond the Golden Gate and back to Pier 39. Beautiful day, great crew. Great photo ops. Would definatley do it again. The day we went it was 80 degrees in the city but cooler on the bay. Would suggest bringing a light jacket. Saw lots of parasailers, wind surfers, and other sailboats out there. Great way to relax and enjoy the bay.

We have taken this cruise every time we have been fortunate enough to get to San Francisco for a visit. It is always one of our "high lights" and a part of our trip we look forward to! I can't imagine a more relaxinfg 90 minutes.

went by rather quickly , the staff and captain were very friendly we really enjoyed ourselves , i just wish the weather cooperated I wanted a romantic sunset cruise and well it kinda hazed over and was dark , no pretty sunset but that was mother nature not our cruise

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the Adventure Cat sunset tour. The weather was ideal and sailing around the bay was fantastic. This is one tour I would do again. Remember to bring a coat even if its warm on the pier. The wind can get brisk on the water.

The sunset cruise was the perfect way to end a busy day in San Francisco. It was a laid back opportunity for anyone to enjoy the sun going down in the city. Thie less adventurous could stay in the warmth of the enclosed area and enjoy the sacks and beverages. However, the more active were allowed out on the bow of the boat to enjoy the wind, water, and view. What fun. Just be careful drinking wine in the wind.

My husband and I had a great time. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our cruise under the G.G. Bridge and around Alcatraz. Recommend highly for a relaxing and quiet ride away from all the rush of the day.

If you're looking for all the bells and whistles guided/narrated tour of the bay - then this isn't for you. But if you'd like a peaceful glide from Pier 39, past Alcatraz, Angel island, Sausolito and right under the Golden Gate and back - then this is what you're looking for.

Spacious decks, free wine and beer, gorgeous views and wonderful weather--we had an excellent time. The atmosphere is laid back and very enjoyable. Dress appropriately, though, as it's both cold and windy once you're out of the harbor. Highly recommended.

The very best way to view the Golden Gate Bridge, and city from the bay. Much quieter and more personal than the much larger floating tour buses. The staff was very helpful, even providing extra jackets for those who were cold. Every member of our family loved this outing and considered it to be the highlight of our trip to San Francisco.

A group of five of us were in San Francisco for a business conference. We booked a cruise online because it sounded like a fun time. It surely was a great time. The staff was just great. They were organized, timely and very friendly. Our weather was foggy but calm and we were able to be outside the cabin. The fog came and went but added a nice touch to our photos of the Golden Gate bridge. The food and drinks on our sunset cruise were very welcome. Our group would very highly recommend this cruise to anyone.

This cruise is not to be missed. My husband and I truly enjoyed the cruise. Great staff - knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We had a ball.
