Adventure Cat Sailing Charters

I believe this is one of the most undersold, best value activities in the bay area. This cruise gives you an excellent view of the city, Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. I been many times. I have taken a teen birthday party on the cruise; my children; my husband and I alone on a romantic day and on a date with my in-laws! You can sit on the nets with the water just a short distance below, have a glass of wine and just enjoy the ride. I have been on this trip during rainy weather, choppy seas and calm sunny days. Either way, you feel complete confidence and safety with the crew on board. At $25 for adults, this is a full hour and a half of far greater value. You are on the boat a good amount of time, but after your sail is complete, you feel you have achieved an all day adventure. It really takes you away from the stress and worry. I drive down from Sacramento, park near Aliotos restaurant. Walk the 5 min to Pier 39 and get on the cruise. Once off, we are free to explore, eat at one of the restaurants validating the parking and then get back in the car. Easy, so relaxing and exhilerating all at once. I can leave at 10 am and be home by 5:00 pm I just went there this Memorial Weekend for my 45th birthday. I could not think of anything else I would rather do. Love it! I am a late bloomer in saling- went my first time just 2 years ago. But, I have been going back 3 times per year ever since. Kim

My husband and enjoyed this so much on Friday night, we booked it again for Sunday night with our daughter and her boyfriend. Granted, the weather was perfect and that added to our enjoyment. However, the choppier water and windier conditions on Sunday night did not detract from the overall experience. In fact, it made it more exciting. The views were spectacular, the crews were very friendly, the snacks hit the spot, not fancy but plentiful and tasty. Small bar selection, but since that wasn't the purpose of the trip, we didn't mind.

Just awesome, better than expected.

Our group consisted of two couples, us local and our friends from the East Coast. Since this was their first time in San Francisco, we wanted to do something that was relaxing and memorable for them - and us. Our sailing crew was great, and with only a total of eight passengers aboard it felt more like a private charter than a scheduled tour. No voice overs telling us what we were seeing, no annoying marketing blurbs for companion websites or sister companies. The crew did their thing and we did ours - watching the beautiful landscape of the Bay slide by.

Far better than I expected. Drinks, food (brie!), went past the golden gate, stopped there, headed back near alcatraz...beautiful!

enjoyed the cruise very much, going at sunset provided unique picture opportunities of the golden gate bridge and bay. very cold and windy you will definatley need a jacket, but the crew had jackets that could be worn during cruise.

We enjoyed the cruise very much - the crew was friendly, the views great, the boat was clean and seemed safe. Everything was great except maybe for the obnoxious guy and his drunk wife who thought we all wanted to hear about all the topics on which they found themselves to be experts.

This was just a really nice event that my husband & I planned out at the last minute. We have never sailed and it was awesome. The $50 per person fee included two drinks each (both alc & non-alc), and a nice little food bar...fruit, crackers, salsa, etc. Music playing to enhance the ambiance, friendly crew, nice blend of domestic & international travelers. A little less fog would have made for an even better sunset, but hey, that's nature. This was so nice & relaxing that I'm trying to plan out a similar event in Florida later this summer. Choice of sitting indoors or out...didn't try the trampoline seating, but an interesting option. Jackets were made available to chilly passengers....nice touch!! Would do again, for sure!

This was our second cruise with this company (the first trip was great also) and we did the sunset cruise. Love being on the water, the boat had plenty of room for everyone, and the appetizer selection was varied and plentiful. Would definitely do this again.

We both thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent on the catamaran. The crew was very nice, the boat fit everyone with plenty of room to wander, sit, etc., and getting up close to the sites like the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz was just thrilling. Would definitely go again.

Really low key and a beautiful sail. This was perfect for us as we are not "tour" people but loved being out on the bay at sunset, but without tour commentary or hype. The crew was great and we will go again our next trip.

We loved the ride. We felt safe and had a blast at the same time.

Easy-going yet competent 2 man crew. Definitely enjoyed this experience as the weather was clear and windy...perfect for sailing.
