We were with a group for an adult friend's birthday - perfect even! We also brought our 2.5 year old - not so great. She enjoyed it and was great, but we were nervous as she is still pretty small, and it was a bit long to hold her attention. She ended up playing downstairs in the boat with other kids. Safer, but not as much fun as being outside. But for groupsof friends or as a couple on a beautiful day, great ride to enjoy company and the views of the city. |

This trip was a retirement gift. If I had known about it, I would have done it earlier. It was awesome. It was a beautiful day and we were outside the entire time. We saw lots of porpoises. I did not even know there were porpoises in the bay. The views of the Golden Gate bridge and San Francisco were awesome. It was a very relaxing, terrific trip. I would definately recommend it. |

Captain Hans & crew answered any and all questions, but the best part is when the motor is turned off & we are powered by sail! No incessant commentary, which I think is a plus...dress warmly, evening if you think you won't need to - it gets chilly on the water. Highly recommend this over less expensive cruises - well worth it. |

My mom and I were visiting SF from Canada for just a weekend. This excursion really was the highlight of our trip. A great way to see the city and enjoy the sunset with an outstanding staff! Food was good, staff were great! Thanks for having us |

This was my third time on Adventure Cat. Frustrating to leave the dock late (1:10pm)
The crew seemed burned out on tourist. I feel for them, however, the vibes were
not consistent with my other two experiences. For now I will no longer tell
everyone about Adventure Cat. |

My friend wanted to do this trip. I am normally suffering under motion sickness and I am afraid of the sea. But I didnīt get sick and felt very save, due to the friendly and competent crew. The boat goes most of the time very smoothly. Try i! It is fun and everyone can do it. And it its totally private. Canīt compare it with the other tours. |

Beautiful ride past Alcatraz, under Golden Gate Bridge and back through the bay. We saw porpoises, sea lions, harbor seals and pelicans. Once you pass under the bridge you sail close to the rocky cliffs on shoreline. You can sit out on the front of the boat (if you are willing to get a bit wet - but this is the best view by far). Great way to see the SanFrancisco Bay. |

This was a perfect way to start our visit to SF. Beautiful views of the city & Golden Gate Bridge as we passed by Alcatraz. A small group of people with drinks & appetizers included. The weather cooperated but I think we would have enjoyed this regardless. Questions answered without an ongoing onslaught of local info like happens on so many "tours." Very relaxing & peaceful. |

The hardest part of this trip was finding parking and the boat dock!! It is J dock down on Pier 39.... that was not on the directions and we asked several shops and got different directions at each! the phone number listed had an answering machine!!!!. Soooo.... allow enough time to get there. Once we found the boat... it was all fantastic ...the crew was very nice.... and even tho there were alot of folks sailing because it was a holiday weekend.. it didn't seem crowded. The trip around Alcatraz and then out to the gate was super...what a temperature change out of the gate... so remember your jackets. You get a view of SF that is worth a million bucks. |
