Adventure Cat Sailing Charters

My wife & I really enjoyed the trip looking for the sunset. The captain and his mates were excellent hosts with extra jackets, food, and plenty of good service. Although it was foggy going out, they knew exactly where to go get us a sunset that we will remember for some time to come. Absolutley beautiful :). Definitely one of the best $$ spent in SF. My sailor son and I wanted to get out on the water while visiting San Francisco; Adventure Cat was just the ticket. The crew is friendly and competent. We really liked that they were happy to answer questions but that the trip did not include a narrated tour of the harbor; they just let us enjoy the sail. We went very close to Alcatraz and then right under the Golden Gate Bridge and had great views of the city all the time. There was a stiff breeze and the catamaran scooted along, but we felt perfectly safe and stayed (mostly) dry, despite being out on deck for the entire trip. Highly recommended if you want a slightly different way to experience San Francisco!

The catamaran is nicely set up so you can walk outside on the front of the boat, or sit in comfort (and protected from the winds) in the middle. It was cold when the boat was going full speed - they gave us jackets but you should bring a scarf/hat too.Pretty neat to be out there seeing all the sights from the water, and riding under the golden gate. It wasn't clear to me from the website how many people fit on the boat; in our trip there were about 25 people, but there was plenty of room for everyone.

The cruise itself was good, unfortunately we had a very foggy day. The crew were friendly and informative. Would do it again.

Friendly crew, and just so much fun. I've lived in California all my life and had never sailed on the bay before. It was a great experience. I want to do this again. It was one of the more reasonably priced things to do in San Francisco, too.

I think we have may enjoyed this, however Friday night I got a little sick from the large swells. My wife who was in the navy and never was sick said she felt nauseated. Several others on the boat also laid down because thet got sick. So much for a catamaran and the smooth ride. I was on a harbor cruse in Newport RI last year with no problem. I am sure your service is fine but I would not try it again.

Best way to see the city. Best bargain in SF Will take all visitors from here on out.

The Sunset cruise with Adventure Cat was fantastic. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. The ship was in great shape (and the bar was well stocked). If only the fog hadn't closed in like some evil movie monster as we sailed towards and through Golden Gate. It was pretty neat hearing the conversations of the fog horns though. Highly recommended. The foul weather gear provided by the crew was a life saver.

IT was a great place to finish off the day in SF, i would highly recommend it to any1, reasonable price i would say(for SF), just be sure to wear warm clothes

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this sunset cruise. The crew were terrific, the sailing was very exciting and the views were fantastic. I would highly recommend it!

My 12 year old son and I did this harbor cruise. The sailboat was both a novelty, and a choice (who wants to smell diesel and listen to the dron of an engine for 1 1/2 hours. Crew was very friendly (let my son steer the ship at one point).

Uncle and Grandma traveling with 11 year old granddaughter. We chose this cruise because of the sailing and going under the Golden Gate Bridge. Granddaughter really enjoyed the adventure. She took some good photos while going under bridge. We would do this again.

Multiple time 'sailor" from the midwest. Sunset is best and Sharon (the CEO -Chief Entertainment Officer) is very accommodating. Wonderful time had by all...again.
