Breathtaking views

| We chose the sunset cruise because nothing beats the the evening light on the bay :) but were a bit sad that we wouldn' t pass below the Golden Gate bridge then according to the website. We were surprised that we didn't go to Sausalito, but actually to the Golden Gate bridge. It is a bit rougher, but also way more spectacular and was a welcome surprise :) The boat itself is very spacious and you definitely won't regret having done the trip. It was clear to see in everyone's eyes. Weather will make a difference. I was in the same week twice and once with jacket, once with short sleeves. | ||||||

| I'd never been on a Catamaran and it was very very cool. We had a windy, choppy day and the boat just cuts through the waves - it's wild! The snacks were good, and the wine was tasty. If you're a local looking for a fun way to show off the bridge and the city views, this is a great option!! | ||||||

| A truly unique experience I would highly recommend. Fun for everyone. Great way to bring everyone together. Beats any other type of boating on the bay... Crowded tourist boat tours using lots of fossil fuels. | ||||||

| This was our first and probably only trip to visit and explore San Francisco. That said this Bay Cruise fullfilled all of our needs and expectations. The Adventure Cat crew was knowledgable and friendly. This is not your typical out and back bay cruise this is a leasurely 1.5 hours where you have the opportunity to view all of the major attactions in San Francisco Bay - Alcatraz Island - Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco Skyline to name the main attactions. This cruise actually passed under the Golden Gate bridge. The Adventure Cat vessel provides a stable and open viewing environment where you get to experience the sites as well as the sea and marine air. There is a cash bar if you desire a beverage. My wife and I completely enjoyed our Adventure Cat bay cruise experience. Thanks. | ||||||

| I would highly recommend the Sunset Cruise with AdventureCat. The crew could not have been any nicer or relaxed; I genuinely felt that they just wanted the participants to have a fun & enjoyable experience. The food provided was excellent and better than expected (vegetables, bread, cheese, snacks), as were the beverages. The two complimentary drinks included a broader variety than I had expected, with several choices of beer & wine, as well. Overall, I could not have imagined a better way to spend my last evening on vacation in San Francisco; thank you! | ||||||

| This cruise was amazing! It's got a place for everyone - the nets for those who don't mind getting splashed (or soaked), the middle of the boat for the people who love the wind, but not the cold water, and the back of the boat for people who don't like the wind. They have amenities, jackets onboard for people who forget them or think they don't need them (you will NEED jackets) and more. It's safe, fun, and both exciting and relaxing. I highly recommend this cruise to anyone! They will depart exactly on time, so be sure to be *at the gate at the pier* early. Don't count on cable cars or muni - our cable car broke down and we had to run for the pier! | ||||||

| The weather changed rapidly 2-3 hours before we went out. It was cold with heavy fog, In my opinion the captain made a poor decision and should not have gone out. It was so cold no one could go on deck and visability was nill - about 50' on every side of the boat. I know there's no telling what the weather can do in San Fransisco but it was clear that no one was going to have a good experience BEFORE we sailed. The captain's decision was made based upon the revenue to the boat and not upon anything else. I also think it was unsafe to be out in such thick fog. I believe we hugged the coast as much as possible but I couldn't see so I can't be sure. Fog horns everywhere. Although we've been on many cruses in small sailboats my wife was a bit scared and I wasn't too comfortable myself. Also, the captain didn't say anything to us about the weather or what he was doing to keep the boat safe or anything else during the trip. He just wanted to stay out long enough to get the $$$... We just returned from our trip so I haven't had a chance to register a complaint with whatever authority the captain reports to but I intend to talk to somebody and soon. GA Hausenflock | ||||||

| A lot of fun and definitely worthwhile. Our five year old was thrilled. Take the advice to bring a jacket seriously. Even on a "warm" San Francisco August day, it was cold enough on the water to make our hands numb. | ||||||

| If you're going to cruise the bay, this is the ONLY way to do it. The staff is amazing and the craft is unbelievable. To be able to stand at the front of the boat with the ocean zipping underneath you is awesome. The craft also has a full bar and nice bathrooms, completely enhancing the experience. On top of that, they offer the jackets for wear in case you get cold, which is quite often the case. A MUST DO in San Francisco! | ||||||

| Over great experience. The operators of the vessel were friendly and let you know what to expect right from the start. Even though the bay was a bit choppy the vessel moved very smoothly through the water allowing a enjoyable ride. The veiws of Alcartaz and the bottom of the Golden Gate Bridge were memorable. Will definitely be a return customer in the furture. | ||||||

| My wife and I had a great time. The cruise was everything it advertised. We were lucky on our night as it was clear with no clouds or fog so we had great views of the city, the Golden Gate, etc. The crew was great and made the trip enjoyable. The crowd wasn't too much and it was a great way to finish up our San Francisco vacation. | ||||||

| Nice, 2 1/2 hour cruise around the bay. I especially enjoyed the close-up view of the Marin Headlands cliffs under the Golden Gate Bridge. Also noteworthy was that the boat was not stuffed with passengers as the larger cruise boats are. Lots of room to walk around and no one blocking views. | ||||||

| The weather was wonderful and the views fantastic. Enjoyed the entire trip especially the part where we went under the Golden Gate to the other side. We got some beautiful closeup shots. The crew was great and they even allowed some of the kids onboard to steer the catamaran. Very friendly. Had a great time. | ||||||
