Cannot recommend highly enough. Small group which made it more enjoyable unlike some tours that are packed with large groups.

I surprised my boyfriend with the sunset cruise for his birthday, he absolutely loved it.. We had a beautiful clear evening so we had a gorgeous sunset which made it very romantic. The crew was outstanding, very nice and hospitable. Since we had about 20 people total in our group we sailed on the smaller boat which was a little more cozy (in a good way). Our favorite parts of the trip was sailing under the Golden Gate and hanging out at the front of the boat, the wind and sea air felt amazing! It was cold outside the cabin so I was glad to have my heavy jacket. They had a supply of heavy fleece jackets that were wind resistant if someone needed more warmth which I thought was great. All in all it very enjoyable and I would definitely do it again.

Really low key and a beautiful sail. This was perfect for us as we are not "tour" people but loved being out on the bay at sunset, but without tour commentary or hype. The crew was great and we will go again our next trip.

The sunset cruise on the catamaran was so beautiful. My husband does not like crowds, so this smaller cruise with a lot fewer people was perfect. The atmosphere was very laid back. It was nice to have hors d'oeuvres and drinks included in the price, however hors d'oeuvres is a very fancy name for chips, dips, veggies, fruit, bread and cheese. Though for the type of excursion the snacks fit well. The crew were great hosts and fun to talk to. I would recommend this sunset cruise for anyone who wants a romantic start to their evening in San Francisco.

The other people and even the guys running the boat were great in helping us get some great pictures. We saw a couple get engaged it was our 8th wedding anv. so that was wonderful to see that. the views were great. I recommend this to anyone....

My husband and I really enjoyed the cruise around the bay even though it was quite chilly and windy. It was very relaxing and peaceful, a great way to end a day of sightseeing. We loved being able to watch the sunset behind the Golden Gate Bridge. Overall, it was a memorable and romantic activity.

Everything about this boat ride rocked: the crew, the views, the amount of time, the indoor/outdoor flexibility... you should use AdventureCat. Period.

We had a great time on the Adventure Cat sunset cruise! It really is a good deal since you get snacks (brie and crackers, nuts, veggie tray) and two free drinks. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming. The sunset was so gorgeous...the only deterring factor was how COLD it was. Adventure Cat has coats that you can put on though, and of course you can go below deck to warm up, they really have thought of everything. I think the sunset cruise is best suited for a couple - it's a pretty romantic setup. I will definitely be taking another ride, but next time with my sig other. Highly recommend!

my family (no children) was in town, and my dad had always wanted to sail under the golden gate bridge. i did some searching, easily made reservations onine, and got on the boat at pier 39. there were drinks and great appetizers to start, and the timing was perfect as the sun set right as we were going under the bridge. it couldn't have been better! and when it got cold, there was hot chocolate and indoor seating, plus provided jackets, to keep us warm. great value and unbelievable experience! i highly recommend it to locals and visitors alike!

We just did the sunset cruise this past Saturday. We were a bit worried about the weather, but it ended up being clear and beautiful! The staff was very friendly and the wine was fantastic! I highly recommend this trip!

I have been on the other cruise, the Blue and Red I think and it was crowded and not nearly as nice as this catamaran. There is no noise from the MOTOR AND THE SAIL WAS JUST DREAMY. WE GOT CLOSE TO SHORE OF A SMALL ISLAND and loved this tour. No shouted facts just a wonderful soothing ride. The boat man willingly answered questions and was so low key and nice he made the trip perfect. We went out on October 29th 2009 and it just required a light jacket. If you needed more cover, they had it on the boat. So great with that beautiful sail overhead. My 10 year old grandson thought it was the best part of our trip and so did I.
