Adventure Cat Sailing Charters

This was my third time on Adventure Cat. Frustrating to leave the dock late (1:10pm) The crew seemed burned out on tourist. I feel for them, however, the vibes were not consistent with my other two experiences. For now I will no longer tell everyone about Adventure Cat.

Our first Adventurecat cruise was a Christmas gift. This second trip was for my South Carolina relatives' highlight of San Francisco. The crew was friendly and helpful, the views courtesy of Mother Nature, and the memory-making experience worth repeating. We highly recommend Adventurecat for anyone who wants to see San Francisco from the best seat in the Bay.

The people that run this excursion were very friendly and my family loved the beautiful trip on the Bay! We hope to return soon with other friends!

We enjoyed this sailing trip out on San Francisco Bay and under the Golden Gate Bridge. Sailing past Alcatraz was great to see. The cool breezes on the bay was minimized by the warm jackets the Adventure Cat provided.

We had an enjoyable time. The crew was professional. It was unfortunately a 57 degree, drizzly day, so it wasn't the greatest weather for the trip. For those of us who really enjoy sailing, it would have been better if the engine had been turned off and the sailing maximized. Instead the engine was used for more than just docking and getting away from the dock. Given the wind direction, I had looked forward to the maneuvering that would be required to go under the bridge; instead, we just cranked up the engines.

Great fun. Great way to see city. Highly recommend.

We got to go out on a beautiful evening. Of course, there was some fog, but it didn't hurt the trip at all. We went right through it around Alcatraz and it was awesome on the other side of the bay as well. We saw a nice sunset and then went to the bridge. The entire Golden Gate bridge was covered in fog, like normal, but it was still fun to go under it. You could still see everything from the deck of the boat.

This is definetely one of the five things to do in San Francisco.

We went out for the sunset sail and it was everything you could want. So much better than those big motorized boats. Much more intimate and, since you're sailing, you're not listening to the drone of a diesel engine the whole time. The catamaran (twin hull) boat is super stable and flat so it's really comfortable. And the crew was awesome. Really pleasant to talk to and knowledgeable about the Bay, wildlife and history. They even let you take the helm if you like. Absolutely worth more than I paid. Enjoy!

The cruise was well run and quite enjoyable. I liked the fact that you didn't try to narrate and just let us enjoy the scenery.

A much more engaging experience than a large cruise boat. Crew was exceptionally friendly - if you ask nicely you can even steer the boat.

We truly enjoyed the cruise. We had 5 in our group, including 2 preteen girls. They had a blast! It was so relaxing and the lenght of the cruise was just right. The only thing was that I did not see any life jackets. I'm sure they were there, but I didn't see them nor were they offered. We are going again before the summer is over. Well worth the money, which is not bad at all. One thing I will do differently? Ask for and make the kids wear life jackets.

Everyone in my group had a great time and like to do it again I will be taking a friend in oct perfect way to see san francusco from the bay sailed smoothly. Crews were nice. Can't wait to get on it again will recommend as part of the best thing to do in san francisco my group wwere all nurses from local hospital. Thanks for the exciting and fun day. Esp. Like sitting in front outside by the net.

We had a great time with friends. The boat is a good size for a first sailing experience and for kids. It was also the perfect length of time to be out on the water. Definitely recommend this company to anyone who wants to sail on the SF Bay.
