Adventure Cat Sailing Charters

I've sailed on Adventure Cat many times with family, out of town visitors, and even coworkers. There's no better way to get out on the bay, and at such an afforable price. Sit on the front deck and enjoy the sun and sea spray. Ten times better than a crowded ferry.

As we watched tour boats go by, full of people crammed at the rails, we were delighted to be sailing quietly and close to the water. Delightful to be under sail with quiet and only the views to see. We plan to go again - and especially anytime we have other family members in town who want to sail on the Bay.

A great trip -- smooth sailing around the Bay, under the bridge, back to the city. We were lucky to have a gorgeous sunset and a full moon. It's pricey -- especially for little kids who don't eat much or drink wine -- but very exciting and memorable.

People who go out on those big bay cruises, the bigger boats, have no idea the great time and the great experience they are missing with the Adventure Cat.

Although I live in the Bay Area, whenever friends come to town to visit this is the one "touristy" thing I insist we do - mainly cause I love it so much! If you love the water, love to sail, it's even better. A wild, serene, outdoor experience with direct contact with the wind, water, and the Golden Gate Bridge! I highly recommend the great staff, the great price, the wonderful trip and the great memories. Photo ops bar none, and the wind in your hair, it does a great job of attitude adjustment on any day of the week!

My only suggestion would be to make it 2 hours instead of just 1.5, it wasn't quite long enough. Thanks!

Sail was very good. Crew was friendly. Only reason not enthusiastically recommended is dependency on weather. If sail is cancelled, no refund is offered, only future use. This is not a good option if you are on the last day of vacation.

Family group from just under two years to just over 60 - everyone enjoyed it so much. Crew were very friendly and 360-views were spectacular - definitely recommended. One point though - not wheel-chair accessible and we were informed otherwise. Thanks for a great afternoon !

Easy-going yet competent 2 man crew. Definitely enjoyed this experience as the weather was clear and windy...perfect for sailing.

The Sunset cruise was a great way to see San Francisco from a different viewpoint. Our Captain and his "mate" were extremely knowledgeable about the San Francisco area and recommending "must see" places while we spent an extended weekend in the area. My only complaint is that we payed extra for the Sunset Cruise yet we didn't even get to see the sunset or the city all lit up. When I asked, it was due to Daylight Savings happening three weeks early this year and they didn't adjust the departure times accordingly. So, I was disappointed about this. Whoever does the scheduling missed this detail. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone visiting the SanFran area. Thanks!

The guys who sailed the boat were friendly and had good taste in music. They were very helpful when we got drenched (our own fault!). The rest of the passengers stayed dry and also seemed happy. The nice thing about the boat was you could be as adventurous as you wanted to- staying under the shelter of the roof or venturing out onto the front of the boat. The trip seemed surprisingly long and was definitely well-priced. Four thumbs up.

The Adventure Cat Sailing was fun. We had a nice crew. The food was good and 2 drinks each was more than enough. They had warm jackets on board which was nice since it got cold by the end of the sail.
