Movie was excellent. I'd suggest a "disclaimer" for children who are younger. I watched three kids from different families truly be in fear.
Bus driver made numerous gender-typic comments which were meant to be lighthearted but not appreciated. Route the bus took was very good!
Home was good but we went over 30 minutes and missed the first few minutes of the movie.

The best part of the package is the Homestead tour, where you get the most information about the Amish. The farmlands tour is also nice because you drive by actual Amish farms and get to interact with the people in their shops. The wine tasting was pretty fun, and you get a lot of shopping opportunities. The theater tells a story of one Amish boy's choice to either stay with or leave the Amish way of life, and includes special effects that make it more interesting than just watching a movie. |

I am so sorry that we did not get to take the outing. One of our party had a bad fall and had to have surgery on his ankle. But we are planing another trip as soon as this buddy gets back on his feet.... |

Our touring experience would have been much nicer if we had known that the day (5/25/2006) we scheduled was an Amish holiday. If we had been made of aware of the holiday, we would have scheduled our tour for the following day. |

We had a wonderful time and did the Super Saver Tour which included the 2-hour Bus tour, the Amish House Tour and FX Movie. My children who are teenagers and pre-teen, really learned a lot and saw a lot. They saw children much younger than themselves working in the family businesses, and they felt very spoiled. It was beautiful countryside and the farms we stopped at were friendly, clean and informative. The winery was also fun and informative. Even my kids learned how to taste grape juice and laughed most of the time. It was well worth the time and money. I was very satisfied with all 3 activities. Thanks for a wonderful time. |

This tour was well worth the money. The bus tour was excellent. Not only did we tour around Lancaster County, but we also made several stops. One was to an Amish Farm, one to a local canning company and one to a winery. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.
The house tour was very informative as was the movie. It was a great tour! |
