The tour was okay. I expected more information on the Amish. Tour guide seemed like he was rushing us. I could have done this tour on my own in my own car. Everything is getting too commercial. Shops pushing to buy things. A $800 quilt is very expensive. |

MY FRIEND AND I REALLY ENJOYED OUR TOUR OF THE AMISH COUNTRY. FOUND THE TOUR GUIDE TO BE VERY NICE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. THOUGHT THE FILM "JACOB'S CHOICE" WAS WELL DONE AND AND LEARNED EVEN MORE IN THE AMISH HOUSE TOUR. ENTIRE PROCESS WAS TIMED WELL ALSO. |

Not nearly as informative and educational as it could have been.
- The guided tour of the house was the best of the three
- The theater presentation was at best somewhat entertaining, but not very informative at all. A waste of time and money.
- The bus tour was helpful and the guide personable, but fully half the time was spent as captive customers of vendors who undoubtedly pay for the patronage. The trip to the winery was an outrageous abuse --- since the winery was not even Amish, and no alternatives were provided to being a captive audience for a vendor of a product in which I was not the slightest interested.
In general the experience was certainly not without value, but was in no way worth the time and money invested. |

I felt that as a whole the tour was too comercialized and did not give us a clear incite on the homes and lives of the amish in todays world.
I did think that the theatre was unique and informative and worth the admitation. |

Enjoyed the tour very much. Could have skipped the wine tasting stop as this does not really relate to the Amish Community. Enjoyed seeing the back roads with all of the rolling farms and the tour guides comments. |

We learned so much about an interesting group of citizens. The tours and movie were well presented and communicated a world of information we wouldn't have gotten on our own, |

My husband and I enjoyed the tour very much. A full sized, comfortable tour bus...and a knowledgable tour guide. The two hours flew by. I would recommend this tour for anyone who hasn't been to the area before. |

The three of us thoroughly enjoyed "The Amish Experience." The movie was an excellent introduction to the struggles young people today must have as they decide whether or not to commit themselves to the Amish way of life. The visit to the Amish home was very enjoyable. Most enjoyable of all, and very informative, was the tour of the farmlands. It was good to get off the main highways and ramble around in the areas that are truly home to the Amish families. Our guide was superb and gave us a wonderful introduction to Amish life. She gave us good background information and answered all questions asked in an informative manner. I would highly recommend the entire experience as an introduction. We later went back and visited on our own much of the area covered in the tour. |

We totally enjoyed our trip and tour to Lancaster, Pennsylvania! Our Amish Experience was an amazing discovery journey in which the people, the spectacular scenery, and the delightful narrated tour transported us to a whimsical place. We highly recommend it to anyone and everyone who wants to be part of a "living museum" experience! |
