We were disappointed in our tour. Our tour guide did not give us alot of information. We were told to look out the left or the right side of the bus and look at the farm. We must have heard that two dozen times. Or, to look at the animals. The information on the Amish was very general. For example we told that they do not wear distructive colors -- red, orange and yellow, but were not told why the colors are considered distructive. We took the tour of the house and saw the movie and received more information from those two items than the tour. Once I have seen one farm from the road -- none were that different. |

We loved the bus tour. It was a comfortable air-conditioned bus. The bus tour took us to back roads that we would never have traveled on. We went on a Saturday so we were able to see people working their mules in the fields and women working in their gardens. The tour bus guide gave us a lot of information and let us stop and buy flowers from an Amish farmer, an unscheduled stop on the tour. We stopped at a few gift shops and a bakery- I got the sampler of baked goods. Delicious! There was also a wine tasting near the end of the tour. The film was okay as was the homestead tour, but we preferred the bus tour. I'm glad we did it. If you have time, come early to Bird-in-Hand and check out all the yard sales on the way to Plain and Fancy Farm. |

I really enjoyed the tour and would recommend it. The only negative thing is at the end of the house tour, the tour guide opended the door for the group to exit the house into the yard area. The entire group stood outside for about 10 minutes waiting for the tour guide to come out and explain the outside of the house and the garden, etc., but tour guide never came out of the house and the entire group didn't realize the tour was over, so we all stood there not knowing what to do. The tour guide should have said this is the end of the tour. I was a bit disappointed not to be told about the outside of the house and others in the group mentioned the same thing. |

The guide made the entire trip both informative and fun. We learned much about the culture of the Amish including their dress, religion, daily routines, relationship with their "English" neighbors, and their reaction to tourists and other outsiders. We highly recommend this tour. We have taken others but this was the best. |

It was nice to be able to go the backways, you got to see things that you don't see on the main way. It was a nice and peaceful bus ride. The theater was great too, never seen anything like it. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and the show and house. The tour was so informational and I learned so much from it. The country is so beautiful and it is a shame everyone does not get to see it. Thank you for a lovely 1/2 day. |

Simplest way of living in America in 2007! It is amazing to see how Amish population can isolate themselves and live so peascefully amongst each other and outsiders. |

The theatre and the tour of the farm house were both very informative. The bus tour was more of a shopping "spree" and not really as informative nor interesting as the Aaron buggy carriage ride we purchased separately. Riding w/ an Amish person was wonderful, as we heard first-hand what their life is really like. |

Enjoyed the bus tour immensely. John was thoroughly informative and the farms we visited were fabulous. We didn't want it to end. "Jacob's Choice" was also fantastic. |
