Bus tour was very good. Guide explained everything very clearly.
It is very nice to know and see the amish way of life. I personally felt that I should learn the discipline, family values, respecting the rules of community etc etc from them.
Though it is irressistable, one should avoid taking pictures of amish people or community atleast from that close proximity. |

Since i was born and raised in Lancaster county, I thought when I took my Sister who was raised in Florida on this bus trip, that I would not have anything to learn, but I was wrong. We both so enjoyed the narration from the tour guide and also the stops along the way which broke up being on a bus constantly. We also enjoyed the Jacob's movie and house tour. Being from the area, I realize an actual Amish house is out of the question, so this is the next best thing. The ticketing procedure thru Zerve went really well even though I only booked it the afternoon prior. I will most definitely use this service again. |

My wife and I enjoyed our tour of the Amish farm country very much. It is absolutely beautiful!
The stop at the Bird-in-Hand bakery was very crowded with other tour groups so could not browse very easily.
We really enjoyed the stop at the Amish farm. We were so impressed with the gift shop on the property that we made a trip back to the shop on our own after the tour.
The winery stop was okay but would have preferred to skip this stop and do more driving around the countryside.
The tour guide was knowledgable and the driver was very good about helping us on and off the bus safely. |

My Kansas friend wanted to tour the Amish area. She found the Amish Experience educational and enjoyable. I learned more myself.
Our tour guide was respectful of inquiries from the tourists and respectful of the Amish, for which I was particularly grateful.
Thank you. |

My wife and I have been frequent visitors to the Lancaster area for the variety it offers: Amish Culture, Railroad Adventures, Dinner Theaters, Theater, Shopping, and many other unique one of a kind experiences. This weekend we introduced some close friends, with whom we often travel, to a "Lancaster Sampler", since they have never been to the area. The Super Saver Combo Ticket provided just the right mix to introduce them to the Amish culture. Also, as my wife and I learned on our many adventures, you always learn something new - this weekend was no exception. We too took away new information about the Amish. Since the Amish culture is in many ways different from ours, this combo ticket provides a great jumping off point to continue and explore this truly unique culture. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Lancaster area. |

we purchased the 3-in1 package and found it to be very punctual. We drove from Virginia to arrive 30 minutes before the f/x theatre showing. From there we headed straight to the tour bus and enjoyed the 2 bakery stops along the way. There were also pauses along the countryside and the guide pointed out interesting amish facts concerning the one-room schools, phone shanties, cemetary, electric lines, and many other tidbits of surprising information. After the bus tour we found the tour through the amish home very helpful in understanding the "normal" way of life for the amish family. By now, it was almost dinner time and we wish we had eaten at the Plain & Fancy Farm restaurant-----it would have saved us driving around looking for a place to eat.........next time, we will plan on eating at the Farm. After dinner we went to the Sight & Sound Theatre and saw "In the Beginning".....it was FANTASTIC!!!!!! We also enjoyed staying at the Best Western Eden Resort & Inn----WONDERFUL breakfast buffet! .... has nice pool and tennis courts too! Also, if you want an interesting tour.........we recommend the Kreider Farm tour in Manheim----very interesting to see the cows milked on a carousel!! At the end of the tour you get to enjoy a complimentary icecream cone----ice cream made from the milk at Kreider Farm! (they also have 3 million egg laying chickens!!) If you like to shop or brouse---we highly suggest the Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse----you can sample ALL their goodies and you won't leave empty handed---this stuff is GOOD! We really enjoyed our 2-day visit to Lancaster! |

My husband, a friend from England and I took the tour. We learned about the Amish and about the history of this area of PA. We all felt that the tour, multi-media presentation and homestead house were sensitively produced and the guides were able to answer all our questions. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. |

The trip was fantastic! The tour length was perfect for learning about the Amish, as well as having time to shop a bit ... the wine tasting was a wonderful ending! We had dinner at Plain & Fancy, family style, and we totally loved it ... the food was fantastic |

I would recommend the tour as a starting point for a first time visitor or anyone unfamiliar with the area. It provides a basic understanding of the Amish way of life and explains many of their customs and beliefs. Also, because the tour covers a nice section of the area, it helped us in planning what places we might want to revisit and suggested new places to explore. The tour guide was knowlegeable and adept at keeping us on the proper timetable. |
