Activity Description
Come enjoy the beauty of historic Annapolis on this two-hour guided Segway tour. Experience the city's charm and explore its famous sites while cruising along the streets on a new Segway PT i2!

You will spend the first hour discovering the city's history and visiting its most famous landmarks, such as:

  • The William Paca House - a National Historic landmark designed and built by governor William Paca in the late 1700s.
  • The Hammond-Harwood House - one of the remaining homes from the British colonial period.
  • The Maryland Governor's Mansion - home of the state's governors for over 125 years.
  • St. John's College - one of the oldest college's in the U.S.
  • The Maryland State House - the oldest state house in continuous use in the U.S. Its dome can be seen from almost anywhere in the city and its topped with the largest lightning rod ever designed by Benjamin Franklin!
During the second hour, you will journey through Annapolis' gorgeous, residential neighborhood of Murray Hill and see how the other half lives. View multi-million dollar Victorian-style homes from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Also get the chance to ride along the waterfront and take in the stunning views of Spa Creek. During this tour you will be riding more on the streets as opposed to the sidewalks, as during the first hour.

Your adventure begins with a short training session where your guide will help you to master the operations of the Segway PT. Before long you will be testing out you skills on the tour!

Helmets and headsets included - don't forget to bring your camera!
