| My wife and I recently moved here from Ohio and this boat tour was the highlight of the time we have spent here so far. The night was beautiful and the food was delicious and we are already planning another Saturday night cruise. The captain was great and gave us a great ride and a lot of interesting sights. Loved it. |

| This dinner cruise was a really great Saturday night date. The drive to Canyon Lake alone is a spectacular ride. Being from the east valley, I have known about the Dolly Steamboat for most of my life and finally decided to take the trip. I'm sorry I waited so long. I have been going to Canyon Lake for over 25 years but I learned quite a bit from the Captain as he narrated along the way. He was knowledgeable and had a great speaking voice. He was quick to point out the Bighorn Sheep back in the canyon which I would have probably missed on my own. Nice to see some rare wildlife out there. I thought the food was great, just like any backyard barbeque at my own house, except this had excellent service as well (I make everyone fend for themselves in my backyard). I doubt anyone could prepare a better meal on the back of a boat. This cruise also featured an astronomy expert who did an excellent job of talking about the night sky. It made for a little romance after the sun went down. I highly recommend the Dolly Steamboat cruise for locals as well as visitors. It's a great alternative to the regular in-town Saturday night. This would be fun and interesting any day of the week.

| The meal was excellent! The crew was very friendly and courteous! It was a very warm day though and perhaps the ship should install some fans to provide some breeze when there is none natural....... |

| The evening was very enjoyable. It was my wife’s 60th birthday and it was the final event of four that I planned for her during the weekend. This was to be the ‘relaxing’ event after three rigorous experiences (horseback riding, Valley Verde Wine Train, and a Sedona Pink Jeep Tour).
The narration was enjoyable; the Captain demonstrated an experienced knowledge of the Canyon area and was entertaining as well. We actually saw three different animals during the trip and the scenery was marvelous.
The food was less than enjoyable and before you get worried; it was expected so there really was no surprise. My experiences with buffets is pretty much the same each time we encounter one so the quality of the meal was predictable…not very good. However the meal was not the focus of the evening so we still had a great time and will probably return again…but only with out-of-town guests. As your cruise is a ‘dinner’ cruise, it would not make sense for us to return for a not-so-good dinner…but we would certainly entertain the prospect of taking guests for the experience (after a polite warning about the food).
We’ve lived here for 18 years and have always talked about the cruise but until this special event have not carried it out. It WAS enjoyable and yes, we would do it again.
Thanks

| The Dolly Steamboat Cruise was great!! Myself and my wife enjoyed it very much. The food was good and the crew was very hospitable. We went when they had Dr. Sky on the cruise with the Astronomy presentation. This was very interesting and informative. We got to see the International space station fly over us, and also got to see the rings of Saturn. I would highly recomend this to anyone who is interested in star gazing. Great job keep up the good work. |

| My wife and i took the Dr. Sky dinner cruise and it was perfect. we both do a lot of hiking and camping, but this was a great way to experience the Salt River Canyon and Canyon Lake. The added touch of Dr. Sky made the evening even more memorable. Good food, nice commentary, pleasant staff. Cannot recommend any changes......except the alcohol restrictions. (ever tried to find good wine and beer in a plastic bottle or can?)

| What a great trip up the canyon, quite and beautiful, saw lots of wildlife out for the night. It was great...
One suggestion! change your music to just background easy listening with out vocals, takes away from the trip... |
