The meal was excellent! The crew was very friendly and courteous! It was a very warm day though and perhaps the ship should install some fans to provide some breeze when there is none natural....... |

The evening was very enjoyable. It was my wife’s 60th birthday and it was the final event of four that I planned for her during the weekend. This was to be the ‘relaxing’ event after three rigorous experiences (horseback riding, Valley Verde Wine Train, and a Sedona Pink Jeep Tour).
The narration was enjoyable; the Captain demonstrated an experienced knowledge of the Canyon area and was entertaining as well. We actually saw three different animals during the trip and the scenery was marvelous.
The food was less than enjoyable and before you get worried; it was expected so there really was no surprise. My experiences with buffets is pretty much the same each time we encounter one so the quality of the meal was predictable…not very good. However the meal was not the focus of the evening so we still had a great time and will probably return again…but only with out-of-town guests. As your cruise is a ‘dinner’ cruise, it would not make sense for us to return for a not-so-good dinner…but we would certainly entertain the prospect of taking guests for the experience (after a polite warning about the food).
We’ve lived here for 18 years and have always talked about the cruise but until this special event have not carried it out. It WAS enjoyable and yes, we would do it again.
Thanks

All in all the cruise was good. We very much enjoyed the astronomy lesson and views of the canyons. Sometimes it was difficult to hear the annoucer (we sat on the top deck almost in the open). The weather was quite warm before the sun went down, but the cold liquid refreshments and breezes from the cruise helped.
The dinner was okay, but nothing I can rave about: food choices were good, although the steaks were overcooked and somewhat tough, the chicken was nicely grilled, the salad could be jazzed up with additional lettuce varieties (something more than white looking iceburg from a bag), the pie was good as was the service by the staff.
With a little improvement on the meal quality and adjustment to the speakers, the experience would be monumentally improved.
Overall I would recommend the cruise to others as a pleasant evening and great look at Arizonas lakes and skies. |

The entire evening was very good and Dr Sky was real good in explaining what we were looking at. I will be back to do this trip again.
I do have a suggestion. I would like to see a early morning Breakfast Sunrise trip if all possible maybe once or twice a month with Dr Sky on this trip to. |

We really enjoy the evening. It was a little warm in the canyon, but a nice breeze helped once in a while. For the Astrology part of the evening, it would have been nice to have a larger viewing area. Because of the upper cover, it was difficult to see what he was talking about, but what we did see, we really enjoyed. We all feel it was a little pricey, but the food was wonderful and the service was excellent. Thank you for a very pleasant evening. |

The Dolly Steamboat Cruise was great!! Myself and my wife enjoyed it very much. The food was good and the crew was very hospitable. We went when they had Dr. Sky on the cruise with the Astronomy presentation. This was very interesting and informative. We got to see the International space station fly over us, and also got to see the rings of Saturn. I would highly recomend this to anyone who is interested in star gazing. Great job keep up the good work. |

Excellent value for the money. The cruise was everything we hoped it would be. The captain was extremely friendly and informative and the food and service were perfect. This was an anniversary trip and we were made to feel special. I will certainly recommend this to others. |

My wife and i took the Dr. Sky dinner cruise and it was perfect. we both do a lot of hiking and camping, but this was a great way to experience the Salt River Canyon and Canyon Lake. The added touch of Dr. Sky made the evening even more memorable. Good food, nice commentary, pleasant staff. Cannot recommend any changes......except the alcohol restrictions. (ever tried to find good wine and beer in a plastic bottle or can?)

The cruise itself was nice but the man reason we went this particular date was because Dr. Sky was going to be there and we thought his presentation was very boring and disappointing. |
