Great time, highly recommended

Captain Tom presents an extremely entertaining cruise that is worth attending. His narration and speed of the cruise are well refined from years of experience. We had the dinner and astronomy cruise: the food was extremely good! They obviously take great pride in their food. Dr. Sky complements the ride with his thorough knowledge of the sky, including satellites passing overhead. It was the middle of August for a very full moon, which was gorgeous due to the darkness of the canyon. The bright moon made it difficult to see the majority of stars, but the moon was more than worth it. The temperature was in the mid to upper 90's and getting close to the fringe of slightly uncomfortable, even though the sun had set. My clothes were sticking to my body, but that is expected when on a lake at those temperatures. For fringe health ages, like young children or elderly, the cooler months of October to March would probably be more agreeable. Yeah, I plan on bringing more friends and family here for this experience.

It was a good value and a wonderful photo op. So nice to see different groups represented, from teens on a date, to a few families, to one 30 yr anniversary, and even some cultural diversity on our trip. Maybe the evening isn't really suitable for young children,a little long for their attention, many seemed to get cranky toward bedtime also as it was very warm they really did not like wearing wee one's required life vests. But for the adults, it was a lovely evening, even with 100+ degrees, Captain Tom kept us all in the shade as much as possible until the sun went down. Lots of information. Even after 20 years here, I learned many new things. He was a little overly apologetic about all the water traffic...what should we expect on a lake in summer? One personal comment made right at the end was a little over the top for my companion. But the rest of the staff was very competent and all our needs were met without being intrusive. We agreed should bring visiting family next time.

I've been on this cruise three times now. First on business; then I went back with my family, and most lately with my in-laws. Everyone I've been with on this cruise has agreed with me that it's wonderful. The people are very nice; Food is good; provides a little respite from the intense Phoenix heat; Can't beat the scenery.

The cruize was very enjoyable. I would reccomend that people don't go when the temperature in Phoneix is over 100.

AMAZING

The dinner cruise was wonderful and far excided my expectations. The sights were amazing; the captain was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The staff was very friendly. My only disappointment was the food. It was all way over cooked. The filet mignon was overcooked that I couldn’t eat it. The chicken was the same. I was disappointed because I was left hungry but the cruise was really worth it. I have been telling all of my friends. Thank you.

We were visiting the Phoenix area and wanted something fun to do. This trip really fit the bill. We enjoyed the people on the trip, the crew, and the dinner was delicious and very filling. We'd highly recommend this trip for anyone.

Same trip, different experience

We took this same dinner cruise about 6 weeks ago...but what a difference 6 weeks in Arizona makes! It was 110 the day we cruised and it couldn't have been more stifling. We were seated on the upper level at the front of the boat, and even though there were windows and breezes now and then, it was just plain hot. The rest of the trip was still incredible, though...beautiful scenery, entertaining narrative, excellent meal (the filet was a thousand times better than the ribeye of six weeks ago!), and top-notch service. This is still a not-to-be-missed trip!
