| After reading some of the recent reviews we honestly did not want to get our hopes up.
We had prepared ourselves to get lost, be subjected to inadequate customer service, poor quality food and unimpressive narration during the trip. WRONG WRONG WRONG!!! I have lived in AZ for over 28 years and thought I had been everywhere and done everything there was to do. THIS WAS A WONDERFUL TREAT!!! From the moment we drove up until we returned to our car we received nothing but far above average service. We had thought that since it was Memorial Day weekend there might have been problems. On the contrary. This group of professionals works magic on this cruise. We arrived about an hour and a half early but were able to sit under an awning, eating ice cream until the tour window opened. We got exactly the seat we requested but I think anywhere on the boat would be fine. Our captain (Captain TOM) was beyond words. The man is a pure delight! Full of information and stories which were easy to hear and understand. The music he chose was relaxing and clever (Pirates of the Caribbean Theme). I'm sure everyone appreciated the consideration he displayed regarding making sure both sides of the boat could view geologic features and the desert bighorn sheep. We were expecting the food to be average at best. It was great!!! Plenty to drink, plenty of ice. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. We had prime rib done perfectly .......we've paid much more which tasted much worse. The salad was pretty plain but did the job. The apple pie was yummy and finished the meal just right. This crew of folks worked their fingers off!!! They are to be congratulated!!! I feel like this cruise is a well kept secret we had the fortune to discover! Thank you for such a wonderful evening. We are hoping to take the astronomy tour sometime soon! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! |

| I wanted to do something special for our anniversary, and I heard about the dolly steamboat and how much fun it was. As soon as we got on board the captain and crew were completly awesome. The trip was great and as romantic as it gets. I would suggest this to anyone who is looking for something different or just a relaxing and wonderful time. The lake is great and was not choppy at all and the views were great. The trip ended on time and left on time. We are definately going to do this again. |

| The cruise was a lot of fun and very interesting. The food was very good. Thought the salad could have been better with some tomato and maybe cucumber. I also thought that the drink selection could have been a little better. |

| The only criticism is being asked to arrive at 5:30 then having to wait in a line. The covered seating is limited and not all seats were in the shade.
The meal was very good and the crew excellent. |

| of our group of 10, 4 of us had enjoyed the dinner cruise before so we knew what to expect. we recommended it to our friends and they, i am very sure, will recommend it to their families and friends. we are all seniors and inclined to be super critical, but it was a flawless evening, with absolutely nothing to complain about. just how rare is that? thanks for a wonderful time! we very enthusiastically recommend it to all who enjoy the water, scenery, nature, and the great outdoors. |

| This was a surprise for my date's 60th birthday. He was visiting from Seattle and was completely awed by the beauty of Canyon Lake. This was my third trip on the Dolly and every trip has been exceptionally enjoyable. I recommend it highly! |
