| Captain Tom presents an extremely entertaining cruise that is worth attending.
His narration and speed of the cruise are well refined from years of experience.
We had the dinner and astronomy cruise: the food was extremely good!
They obviously take great pride in their food.
Dr. Sky complements the ride with his thorough knowledge of the sky,
including satellites passing overhead.
It was the middle of August for a very full moon, which was gorgeous due to
the darkness of the canyon. The bright moon made it difficult to see the majority of stars,
but the moon was more than worth it.
The temperature was in the mid to upper 90's and getting close to the fringe of slightly uncomfortable, even though the sun had set. My clothes were sticking to my body, but that is expected when on a lake at those temperatures. For fringe health ages, like young children or elderly, the cooler months of October to March would probably be more agreeable.
Yeah, I plan on bringing more friends and family here for this experience. |

| The whole experience was delightful! From checking in to the end, everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was great and plentiful. The narration was interesting in learning about the lake. We sat on the top just outside the covered area. Take a warm jacket! The temp is always cooler on the water and especially at night. We had requested to be under the cover but they weren't able to accommodate that. We had perfect weather for late March, and were absolutely thrilled with the experience. We cruised part of the time in the darkness of night. We loved it. The stars were shining bright, and we could see running lights of other boaters and lanterns of campers. We saw some Turkey vultures, a Red-tail hawk and a Bald eagle flew past as we were departing the dock. Cool! A few bats flew overhead for a couple of minutes at about dusk. Fun! We'll take a daytime cruise next year to see more of the lake. Go! You'll love it! |

| Our trip would not have been complete without the Dolly Steamboat excursion. Captain Tom was terrific......knowledgable, fun, and personable. His crew was on equal ground....or should I say "water"! Our dinner was delicious - rivaling any that we have had during our visit to Arizona. Overall I would recommend this trip to anyone that wants to enjoy the glory and serenity of one of Arizona's treasures - Canyon Lake. |

| The evening was very enjoyable. It was my wife’s 60th birthday and it was the final event of four that I planned for her during the weekend. This was to be the ‘relaxing’ event after three rigorous experiences (horseback riding, Valley Verde Wine Train, and a Sedona Pink Jeep Tour).
The narration was enjoyable; the Captain demonstrated an experienced knowledge of the Canyon area and was entertaining as well. We actually saw three different animals during the trip and the scenery was marvelous.
The food was less than enjoyable and before you get worried; it was expected so there really was no surprise. My experiences with buffets is pretty much the same each time we encounter one so the quality of the meal was predictable…not very good. However the meal was not the focus of the evening so we still had a great time and will probably return again…but only with out-of-town guests. As your cruise is a ‘dinner’ cruise, it would not make sense for us to return for a not-so-good dinner…but we would certainly entertain the prospect of taking guests for the experience (after a polite warning about the food).
We’ve lived here for 18 years and have always talked about the cruise but until this special event have not carried it out. It WAS enjoyable and yes, we would do it again.
Thanks

| The trip through the canyon was awesome. The Captain was informative and provided interesting facts. We saw Big Horn Sheep, a Ram and Heron. The Captain had a well trained eye. The food was good and plenty. It was a very relaxing evening. We would reccommend it to anyone. |
