| First, let me say that Captain Tom and crew were great. The cruise itself was nice and peaceful and would have been enjoyable if not for fellow passengers.
This group had a toddler with them that cried the whole entire cruise. Not only was this group late for the cruise by 10 minutes causing a late start, but they were seated upstairs. Evidently they liked the downstairs better, because the spent the whole trip downstairs on the veranda with their crying and disruptive kid right outside the door to the downstair seating area. Since we were the first table inside the door, we were disrupted and irritated the whole cruise.
I have nothing against children being included in events if they are not disruptive and spoil the whole evening for everyone else. We had all paid for the cruise and the experience was ruined.
I believe the crew on board should have at least made them go back to their seats so as to not disrupt the whole bottom level.
I would recommend the cruise to others in the future, but maybe kids should be passengers on the day cruises instead of the evening cruise. I'm just glad I was there with girlfriends and not a date because it took all of the romance out of the evening. |

| I've been on this cruise three times now. First on business; then I went back with my family, and most lately with my in-laws. Everyone I've been with on this cruise has agreed with me that it's wonderful. The people are very nice; Food is good; provides a little respite from the intense Phoenix heat; Can't beat the scenery. |

Family With Children |
| Three family members told this reservation site that we had children under 5. The reservationist kept telling everyone they were free and would not list them. When we got to the boat they couldn't guarantee space or meals for them because they didn't know about them. The food on the boat was fabulous and they were accomodating, but I'm still mad at the reservation people.
There was only 1 working bathroom on the boat so my 3 year old learned to dance in place and hold it in line.
All children are required to wear a life vest during the entire cruise. The vest are big, bulky and very hot. |

| The cruise was very enjoyable and the help was very nice. The only thing I can say is that I was not impressed with Captain Tom. He had a negative attitude and I noticed he was short with some of the people. He should keep his negative remarks to himself and not share with the customers. I think if he doesn't like his job then he should get another. |

| I took my 86 year old mother and her friend up from Tucson for the dinner cruise. Of course, the scenery was fabulous...can't change that!! The cruise itself was very enjoyable. We did the astronomy cruise due to date of our trip, not by choice, but it was certainly interesting and educational for all of us.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially to my mother and her friend. They (and I) appreciated the extra assistance they were given.
The food was good overall, except the chicken was overcooked. I think it was last time, as well. That may be due to bacteria concerns, but it was so dry it was difficult to cut, which seems a little overkill! My steak was great, not overcooked. It's a really good meal, especially considering you are out on a boat. Good job!
I would recommend..and have...the dinner cruise to anyone. It's a beautiful setting and the crew are so nice and helpful. It's something that can be done more than once and there's always something new to enjoy.
Even my mother's friend...who is a bit difficult to please, shall we please...did enjoy herself. Thank you. |

| My husband took me on the Dolly Steamboat as a surprise. Unfortuniately, it was a very hot day. He had scheduled it for a Friday, but we were switched to Saturday in order to fill the boat. Consequently we ended up inside instead of outside on the upper deck.
The captain gave some very interesting info regarding the lake and its development, but a group celebrating a birthday behind us were so loud, we could only hear bits and pieces. In fact, there were several groups who were obnoxiously loud and did not care to listen to either the captain or to Dr. Sky later in the evening. We would have really enjoyed the program presented had we been able to hear. I really don't know why these people bothered to take this trip as they did not enjoy the scenery or program provided.
I would hesitate to spend the money to do this trip again for fear of the same results evenn though I think it could be fun and interesting. I normally do not complain when people are having a good time, but think they should have sitted off by themselves or asked to be a little more quiet for the benefit of others. |

| I enjoyed the Dolly Steamboat Cruise. The food was tasty, the views spectacular and the staff was wonderful. I was there for the astrology cruise and found Dr. Sky to be friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and I would go again.
One thought of caution: not everyone on that cruise was interested in the astrology. I found it hard to hear Dr. Sky as several intoxicated people were allowed to be loud and somewhat unruly. You should keep in mind that alcohol is allowed and passengers are allowed to roam both decks which unfortunately for a few of us interupted our meals. |

| The cruize was very enjoyable. I would reccomend that people don't go when the temperature in Phoneix is over 100. |
