Great trip, the scenery was fantastic, the crew very nice. The dinner was OK, the meat was a bit overcooked and tough, it was cooked over the grill on the boat. All in all it was a great trip.

superb opportunity to enjoy our adult children

They visited with limited time, young adults working hard in MI and Canada. Our son and daughter wanted to experience the canyons. For 2 1/2 hours (without the stress on dad to drive!) we enjoyed visiting and laughing, sharing the wonderous views, a full moon, relaxing music and meeting new people. An evening their lonesome mother will treasure for a long time. Thank you.

Very dirty Lake (lots of trash, mirky waters), geriatric crowd on the twilight dinner cruise. Food was ok (not great), staff extremely friendly and very attentive (if it were not for the staff, would have scored 2/5 stars. Star gazing was nice, but pretty pitch dark for last 30 minutes of cruise. Pretty expensive for what they offer.

Memorable Short Cruise

This cruise was extremely enjoyable and very relaxing. The crew were friendly and the Captain was extremely knowledgeable in providing a historical perspective of the canyon. The scenic beauty reminds one of a miniature Grand Canyon. The Captain alerted us when Big Horn sheep were viewable as well as water fowl and a Bald Eagle which added splendor to an already memorable experience. The food was tasty and well organized given that it was a buffet style dinner. The Captain allowed my son to steer the boat back towards shore which further added to the enjoyment of my family and friends. I highly recommend this cruise to anyone who enjoys natural beauty and an escape to relax and enjoy the beauty as it unfolds before your eyes!

Cruise was fun and the driver/speaker was great

I was disappointed in our table. We had purchased our tickets on Friday, May 9, with the understanding that we would have a table for two, on top, outside. Since we had a reservation, we went to get our pass to go on board. When we got up to the counter the girl got flustered because they had not assigned a table for us before hand. Our name was on the list but they forgot to assign us to a table and she said was sorry for the error. There were no more tables for two outside. Therefore, the table they set up for us was below, across from the snack bar, and across the bathroom, and near where they were cooking. Not only did we not get the view we hoped for but when it came time for dinner, they served us first and we got everyone lining up and coming through the snack area (where we were seated) to get their dinner while we were eating . i do not understand how they missed assigning a table when they had a reservation.

Returned in the dark.

The only thing I would change about this cruise is that with about a hour to go it was already dark. Would like to have had it light for the whole trip. Otherwise it was great. The captain was great, the crew was great and the food was great.

Great Scenery, good food and value.

We went on the 9/22/2007 twilight cruise. Scenery was great, food was good and overall value was good. It would have been better if cruise would have started 1 hour earlier as it got dark so early and last 1/2 of cruise was slow and in the dark and with the beautiful scenery around it seemed a shame to miss it.

Dolly worthwhile experience

This could have been a truly lovely experience. We were highly disappointed that we were not informed there would be a wedding party on the upper deck. (We would have cancelled eight reservations had we known.)They had not chartered the entire boat so they used the PA system. I didn't care to listen to their toasts, etc. Some of their party was late in arriving and the boat waited for them. I thought that highly unfair as we missed out on some daylight exploring. The crew was excellent and the food was phenomenal! This was our second trip on the Dolly and I was anticipating it being as good as the first one. It didn't live up to my expectations. But I was miffed by the twenty minute delay in starting the trip.
