| The scenery was stunningly beautiful. Who knew that this glorious combination of deep blue water and sheer cliffs even existed in Arizona? I've lived her over five years, and had no idea.
Tickets to the dinner cruise on Canyon Lake were a surprise birthday gift to my date. We had both heard of the Dolly Steamboat from friends. My date had previously been to the lake for hiking, but the cruise revealed the true beauty of the place.
All the information that I provided about the evening's activities were a simple wardrobe tip, what time to be ready to leave, and that we would be having dinner. So the lake cruise was truly an unexpected welcome event.
We found it to be peaceful and calming, very romantic, and a nice change from the work-a-day world.
Immediately, a plan was made to come back next year, but this time to attend the Astronomy Cruise with Dr. Skye.
The only criticism is that, in my opinion, the catering could try a little harder. The food provided was good, but seemed a bit mundane. Perhaps one more vegetable dish with a fresh ingredients would be a good addition.

| My husband and I went on the cruise to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary. It was our second time on the cruise, and I enjoyed it more this last time! The cruise left on time and the staff and captain were very cordial, professional and personable.
The captain was very knowledgable in the little nuances of the lake and canyons, and he made sure to inform everyone about safety instructions before and after the cruise.
Soft music was our constant companion which made the evening even more enchanting while viewing the sheer cliffs and small waterways of Canyon Lake. We took plenty of pictures!
The food was really good and served with a smile. They served the food on glass plates and the tables and chairs were comfortable with plenty of room between tables. There was plenty of iced tea, lemonade, water and coffee during the cruise.
We especially enjoyed the return trip. A full moon peeking over the canyon wall, spilling moonlight onto the water, while a cool breeze touched our faces. It was just beautiful!
We will definitely be back! Thank You! |

| My husband and I did this for our 11th anniversary. The food was OK, but we were there for the ambience more than anything. The weather was great (not too hot, not too cool), and we just loved the captain. We took someone elses advice from here, and requested open air upper deck seating. We are so glad we did. The covered section would have blocked so much of the canyon view. Don't worry that it'll be too hot. Once you enter the canyon, it is quite shady and nice. We LOVED it and will definitely do it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| This is a view of Arizona that everyone should see. You can't beat the scenery, and the food is good too. Good food and over-the-top scenery makes this a great value and a must-do. We are new residents of Arizona. We plan to be return customers for this cruise when our out-of-town family comes to visit. |

| While I wouldn't recommend going in the summer, the scenery was beautiful and well worth the ticket. For meat-eaters the food was good, however, the vegetarian dish was not so great but I guess for this type of event you aren't paying for the food. |

| A group of 10 of us went on to celebrate my husbands birthday. It was fun, the staff was nice, the food was good, unfortunately it was very hot and humid! Though we were seated on the upper deck, we were under cover and since we took the astronomy cruise the cover did hinder the experience. Dr. Sky was very informative, but it is quite soft spoken and with any conversation it was difficult to hear it all.
To do it again, I would do it with a smaller group, because the tables are only big enough for 6 people, preferably in Spring or Fall and only if I can purchase the tickets early enough to be sure to get the upper deck, open air seating. There needs to be more open air availability. |

The ride was very pleasant and the staff were in full humor and very friendly.
The canyon cliffs were painted with a gorgeous sunset
The big horn sheep were in great form on the top of the cliffs.

| It was a fun trip. We were looking for something different to do. The astronomy cruise was informative and fun. I'd do this again, but will wait till later in the season when it cools down some. |
