| Although the weather did not cooperate fully for the astronomical portion until the very end, we enjoyed ourselves very much. Captain Jeff and his crew were all very personable. Dr. Sky was as informative as he could have been (under the cloud cover for most of the cruise). I was abit disconcerted that the intro portion had not been updated though and referred to past events in August (we attended in September).
The food was OK, although I really think that Dolly Steamboat should entertain the practice of table service. I did not know the food was served buffet style and by the time we were allowed to go and get our food, it was overcooked and lukewarm, although still very tasty. Walking through the boat where other passengers already were eating bothered me.
The grandeur of the Arizona sunset and the scenery in Canyon Lake was absolutely beautiful and made up for all the other little shortfalls. |

| It was a fun trip. We were looking for something different to do. The astronomy cruise was informative and fun. I'd do this again, but will wait till later in the season when it cools down some. |

| The entire evening was very good and Dr Sky was real good in explaining what we were looking at. I will be back to do this trip again.
I do have a suggestion. I would like to see a early morning Breakfast Sunrise trip if all possible maybe once or twice a month with Dr Sky on this trip to. |

| My fiancee and I took his mother out on the cruise for Mother's Day and I have to say all 3 of us enjoyed it very much. Very relaxing, beautiful scenery, the narration of the scenery was in great detail and the food that they served on the dinner cruise was excellent. We all look forward to doing it again very soon!! |

| From the time we stepped on the Dolly till the moment we departed, we thoroughly enjoyed the Twilight Dinner Cruise for its' ambience, the accommodations, the staff, the food - and above all the spectacular views. Capt. Tom and Janet did a great job. In fact, it was a great adventure, but...
When making your reservations online, you are asked to fill in a comment field that reads, "USE THIS SPACE ONLY IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEND A MESSAGE TO THE SELLER. THIS MESSAGE WILL APPEAR ALONG WITH YOUR BOOKING INFORMATION". My message was "This is a special occasion. We are both celebrating our birthdays (May 1 and May 4)
Clearly, the message was either not received, or not found important enough to cause any interest, because the event was not mentioned or recognized in any way. We were two of three individuals celebrating birthdays that evening. The other gentleman was recognized more than once by Captain Tom who in fact, sang "Happy Birthday" to him over the loudspeaker. I wasn't expecting dancing girls and a cash prize, but I did expect to be recognized.
Granted, this may be considered by some to be small potatoes compared to the rest of the evening, but when someone asks for comments, it gives the impression that someone will actually read them.
Perhaps THIS "comment" will be read by the "Seller" and they will be more considerate in the future.
By the way...we were two of only 19 people on the cruise that evening. (May 6) We were a little hard to miss.

| I booked this event for my husband's birthday. We are orignally both from Wisconsin, where lakes are plentiful. It was really nice to see and be on the water in AZ, where we live now. It was so relaxing and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this to anyone. |

| A female friend and I went on the Saturday evening cruise. We did not purchase dinner tickets so were required to sit on the lower level (inside) of the boat. That would have been ok except that there was a very loud family down there with us.
The diner looked all right but not worth the price except for the fact that with the dinner you get the prime seating, either on the top deck or outside on the bow.
You can bring your own wine or beer if you purchase dinner. I am not sure whether you can do this if you do not purchase dinner. There is a snack bar with a few items like candy bars.
The Captain's narrative left much to be desired. However, the view and atmosphere was fantastic! The Captain and crew were very friendly and tried to acccomodate us after dinner by allowing us to sit in chairs outside on the bow away from the noisy family.
