| The above header is what we called the unscheduled entertainment; namely a fantastic lightening show provided by "Mother Nature ." It was truely 'awesome!'
There were 9 in the group; three men and six women. We all belong to either the American Legion or American Legion Auxiliary and were in the Phoenix area attending our National Convention. The daylight part of the cruise provided us with many breathtaking sights as well. I do believe everyone in the group enjoyed the meal. I know I did. |

| This was our 4th Dolly Cruise in 4 years. This time we took our 16 yr. old Granddaughter with us. We LOVED the twilight cruise in the summer as the daylight lasted so long we were abel to see and photograph the Bighorn Sheep, several Western Grebes, A Great Horned Owl and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking!
We took loads of pictures, and had our best time this time. Our other trips were the dinner cruises in the winter. The food is always EXCELLENT and the staff is Exceptional! I would reccommend this cruise to anyone coming to visit Arizona, or for those who live here.
Sincerely,
Milie and George Bilotta |

| This was a great excursion, well worth the price. The food was very good & the service was efficient, courteous, and attentive. The trip itself wasn't rushed; the boat slowed and even paused for wildlife viewing and the Captain's narration was appropriate--not too much nor too little. Very relaxing, we'd do it again. |

| I took my 86 year old mother and her friend up from Tucson for the dinner cruise. Of course, the scenery was fabulous...can't change that!! The cruise itself was very enjoyable. We did the astronomy cruise due to date of our trip, not by choice, but it was certainly interesting and educational for all of us.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially to my mother and her friend. They (and I) appreciated the extra assistance they were given.
The food was good overall, except the chicken was overcooked. I think it was last time, as well. That may be due to bacteria concerns, but it was so dry it was difficult to cut, which seems a little overkill! My steak was great, not overcooked. It's a really good meal, especially considering you are out on a boat. Good job!
I would recommend..and have...the dinner cruise to anyone. It's a beautiful setting and the crew are so nice and helpful. It's something that can be done more than once and there's always something new to enjoy.
Even my mother's friend...who is a bit difficult to please, shall we please...did enjoy herself. Thank you. |

Couple on a Date |
| My husband took me on the Dolly Steamboat as a surprise. Unfortuniately, it was a very hot day. He had scheduled it for a Friday, but we were switched to Saturday in order to fill the boat. Consequently we ended up inside instead of outside on the upper deck.
The captain gave some very interesting info regarding the lake and its development, but a group celebrating a birthday behind us were so loud, we could only hear bits and pieces. In fact, there were several groups who were obnoxiously loud and did not care to listen to either the captain or to Dr. Sky later in the evening. We would have really enjoyed the program presented had we been able to hear. I really don't know why these people bothered to take this trip as they did not enjoy the scenery or program provided.
I would hesitate to spend the money to do this trip again for fear of the same results evenn though I think it could be fun and interesting. I normally do not complain when people are having a good time, but think they should have sitted off by themselves or asked to be a little more quiet for the benefit of others. |

| Food was very good; beautiful surrounding; helpful and accomodating staff; presentation re astronomy related views, etc. was outstanding....only concern would be the very warm summer temps make it a bit uncomfortable until after the sun begins to set....I wholeheartedly recommend this trip to anyone....best trip next to viewing the Grand Canyon... |

| We took the sunset dinner cruise.
The food was good. The canyon was really beautiful
Very well done and worth the price.
Try to get seating that is not covered, in the bow or second level. This is a better view of the high canyon walls |

Highly Recommended even for group outing

| Would like to salute Captain Tom, Nicole and the other assiatant (Upper Level)
as well as the cooking staff for a wonderful evening cruise on the lake.
The serenity and views were very relaxing and even more so with dinner.
Our group of ten was seated in front of the boat taking in all the views and narrations by Captain Tom.
I personally want to thank Nicole for the seating arrangement with my group as I feel she had gone the extra mile for me to impress my friends. In fact, I heard from my friends afterwards that they intend on bringing their family members when they visit onto the Dolly Cruise.
One couple said, we have cruised the Dolly before, but never on a dinner cruise and this trip was fantastic with our friends being together. Just want to mention that while cruising, conversation among our group was at almost a standstill as we listen to the narration and enjoyed the beautiful views. The time went too fast for us. |
