If I rate this cruise, it is 7 out of 10. It was very nice atmosphere. I believe it could have been better if it does not rain. I liked it a lot because of age group in the ship. The food was too little. It could give us more light in the ship or at least options to light up. I would recommend to go there around mid of october when it gets cooler out side so you might be able to see wild animal which we could not see this time. The scenary was excellent. Thank you |

We went on the 9/22/2007 twilight cruise. Scenery was great, food was good and overall value was good. It would have been better if cruise would have started 1 hour earlier as it got dark so early and last 1/2 of cruise was slow and in the dark and with the beautiful scenery around it seemed a shame to miss it. |

I have lived in Arizona, Scottsdale, for over 20 years and was not aware of this adventure until my husband was looking for something unique for my birthday. He heard of it from an out of town friend. We had a great time! Need to advertise to the local people so they can also have fun! The Captain was great and really informed of the local area. We loved his Apache Lake narration.n He also had a great sense of humor.
Thanks for a great time. |

The tour of Canyon Lake was beautiful. The dinner was very good. The meat was grilled right on the boat so it was fresh & hot. The staff was friendly and accomodating |

My husband and I really enjoyed the excursion. The dinner was very good, and the crew were excellent. They were informative and helpful. We learned a lot about the canyon and its wildlife. We also found it to be very relaxing. |

I took my husband on this cruise for his 70th birthday. We both enjoyed it and the best part was the electrical storm towards the end of the cruise. Better than the 4th of July. |

My husband & I along with my sister & brother in law took the Astronomy Cruise.
The food was very good, the staff was friendly and accomodating. It was a cloudy
nite so we were limited on star gazing, however, the skies opened a little towards
the end of the cruise and Dr Sky was very informative. We all really enjoyed our
evening and would definitely do this again. |

Although the weather did not cooperate fully for the astronomical portion until the very end, we enjoyed ourselves very much. Captain Jeff and his crew were all very personable. Dr. Sky was as informative as he could have been (under the cloud cover for most of the cruise). I was abit disconcerted that the intro portion had not been updated though and referred to past events in August (we attended in September).
The food was OK, although I really think that Dolly Steamboat should entertain the practice of table service. I did not know the food was served buffet style and by the time we were allowed to go and get our food, it was overcooked and lukewarm, although still very tasty. Walking through the boat where other passengers already were eating bothered me.
The grandeur of the Arizona sunset and the scenery in Canyon Lake was absolutely beautiful and made up for all the other little shortfalls. |
