Intersting trip around Canyon Lake

| It seems odd to take a cruise on a lake in the middle of the desert but that's what the Dolly Steamboat does. The cruise is a leisurely ninety minute trip along some of the lake's coastline. The staff is very helpful and knowledgable. The commentary is fresh and informative. Seat yourself on the starboard (right) side of the boat and you will see most of the sights. | This is an excellent day trip for locals. If you are visiting from out of state, you will be shocked by the amazing views. All ages will have a good time on the Dolly Steamboat.
My only advice is to try to get a seat in a shaded area, because it can get hot sitting outside in the full view of the sun. Even if you have to sit outside, most people get up and move about the boat during the ride.
We plan to ride again after we receive a period of rain, so we can see the waterfalls! |

| This was a great way to see the desert of Arizona and the wonderful boat trip of Canyon Lake. We visited Tortilla Flats afterward and enjoyed the burger. |

| We are just retired and came to Arizona for the month of March. (We live in Canada where it is very cold this year) Was suggested that we take in the tour on this lake or the other tour. We booked everything via phone with no problems, the staff person we talked with sent all info via email promptly and was very polite and curtious. Some of our other friends have booked the same tour after we had told them about it.
Would recomend this to others as well.
Thank you and God willing will be back to Arizona next year.

| When one considers a visit to the desert, one never imagines beauty like is seen on the Canyon Lake cruise - the scenery is spectacular and the boat staff cordial and attentive to detail, especially the safety of their passengers - I'd recommend this cruise to everyone that visits the Sonorian desert |

| My wife, her sister, and I found this to be an informative hour and one-half on Canyon Lake from a perspective we'd not seen before. We were happy to NOT be subjected to a continuous dialogue of facts we would probably not remember, but just enough information about the topography and history to make it an interesting trip. We especially appreciated the quality sound system that everyone could easily hear, and the music choices that complemented what we were viewing.
I look forward to the opportunity to take the evening starlight cruise sometime. |
