| We had seen the advertising for this event for a number of years. Someone in our group really wanted to go on this cruise. We decided to purchase tickets and all eight of us enjoyed this tour so very much. We recommend your Dolly Steamboat Cruise to anyone that can appreciate the beauty of one of the many wonders of Arizona, USA. |

| I know that missing the boat was our fault (we underestimated the slowness of the drivers on the winding mountain roads), however we got there 12:02 and trusted that the boat, knowing how many tickets were sold, would wait at least 5-10 minutes. Obviously it did not. I also understand that they have to hurry to get back for cleanup etc. for the next cruise, but still....... |

| We almost didn't book the cruise because it got so hot in late July, hitting 114-115 for several days, but when the temperatures fell in early August we thought we'd go ahead. Our granddaughter was turning 3 years old and she loves Enya's music and videos, especially her song, "Orinoco Flow" or as she calls it: Sail Away. That was one reason for the idea of a boat trip. We enjoyed the drive up to the lake, I hadn't been there since I was a teenager. We enjoyed the great breakfast at the cafe next to the marina and waited for the Dolly to load and depart. We enjoyed the captain's
narrative as we cruised around the lake. My daughter said to our granddaughter,
"wouldn't it be cool if they played "Sail Away." A few minutes later we heard just that
song being played. In fact the entire selection of music was terrific.
The narration was great, learned a lot about Arizona and it's wildlife, geology. The
breeze was welcome, I don't think we were over 100 degrees the entire trip and that ain't bad for August. Anyway, we're suggesting that anyone who has young kids take
them up for the cruise, it's something I know they'll remember. |

| As a new resident to Phoenix, my husband and I wanted to find a place to take our family when they came out from Ohio and Calf. My new friends at work recommended Canyon Lake boat tour...We checked on line, thought it would be great and booked for 5 adults and 1 child which was free...I liked that very much!
We drove out to check it all out before everyone got here and loved the drive and hairpin turns to the canyon...We are explorers! Found everything...Got a beer in the resturant, went to Toritta Flats got an ice cream cone and earrings...went back home!
Then when the family came we did it all over again...the boat ride was wonderful, the captain was just great with all the history, loved the music...popcorn and snacks very reasonable in price...Free water was a very nice thing to have...Got back, we all went into the resturant and ate great food and ICE COLD beer...went back to the FLATS and all got prickly pear cactus ice cream...and drove home....Our children, their wives and our 4 year old granddaughter had a great time....Would tell anyone to buy tickets and do this tour....
Thanks so much

| This was by far the best money spent with my family on their visit to Arizona. The whole visit on the Dolly was great. I saw some of the states birds, turkey buzzards, heron, duck and even saw 4 mountain goats. The lake views were absolutely impressive . I would recommend this ride to all people of all ages. |

| It was a relaxing cruise, with one exception, it was too hot, being that it was August 18, still in the height of summer. 90 minutes of drifting on the lake, with good music, our pilot was informative about the difference sights, and I was thrilled with the rare appearance of four big horn sheep. I do recommend if you are going to take this cruise especially with small children, take it during March, April, May, Oct, Nov. I had to keep pouring water on my head to stay cool.
If I may suggest, to the Dolly Steamboat establishment, it might be a good idea to put one of those misters, one that you see at some eating places to cool the place down a bit, and maybe just the upper deck.
I'll definitely bring the rest of the family for this outing in the future, when it gets a little cooler. Thank you very much. |

| Dolly Steamboat left on time, returned on time. Well organized; no hassles.
Scenery was nice, but no sign of the wild animals that were anticipated. |
