| Enjoyed the trip and naration on Canyon Lake. Parking at the marina was hard on a Sunday with lots of people using the lake. |

| The only thing that could be improved is the boarding process. We had reservations b ut still had to wait in line to get boarding pass, then wait again to get on boat. |

| This was our third trip on the Dolly. The last time we saw some big horned sheep climbing high in the rocks so we brought a camera and binoculars this time hoping we would get a chance to use them. We had reservations for the 2pm cruise because my wife volunteers at a hospital in Mesa and works till 1pm. We arrived at Canyon Lake at 1:50pm and received the last boarding pass. We ended up sitting in the cabin across from the bathroom. The location was terrible. We were on the port side and the captain, who was on the starboard side, did a nice job of narrating everything he observed on his right. We were unable to see much of anything this trip.
This is a good cruise, but you must arrive early if you want to sit in the upper deck or at a window on the starboard side. |

| We moved to Apache Junction from upstate New York in January of 2006. We discovered Canyon Lake and the Dolly Steamboat Cruise and have taken EVERY visitor ever since. Thanks to our Captan, Jeff, he alerted us to the presence of several Big Horn Sheep on top of a cliff. I was able to photograph them.
Every one of our cruises was a most enjoyable experience but this one was extraordinary! Thank you Jeff.
Even though the cost is reasonable, I'm still waiting for my "frequent flyer" discounts!! |

| Everything was great -- from the wonderful drive out to the dock on!
I especially like the "board by #" - it avoids the stampede for the best seats.
Only negative comment is the statement to be there 30 minutes before boarding - and there's no one in the ticket office! But the prior cruise showed up 25 minutes before, so things went OK.
The lake is beautiful - the commentary very good. The staff was friendly, and helpful. One word of warning - if you set up front, you have trouble hearing the commentary for the wind and bow splash.
All in all - a very relaxing 1-1/2 hours. |
