| This was our second trip on the Dolly Steamboat. Both were very informative and enjoyable. Captain Tom and the crew did a very good job.
I recommend this trip to many others. |

| From the moment you check in with the friendly hostess in the booth, your time of natural splendor and relaxation begins. Ample seating is provided as you wait ( a short wait) for all to check in. Then a short jaunt to the Dolly. The Captain and his crew greet you warmly and are quick to answer all questions, even the silly ones, I think they enjoy their jobs.
My wife and I went with a group of friends from church. We stopped at one of the picnic areas before we got to the Landing, and had an enjoyable picnic lunch. (Get a map of the area and plan a time and spot, thanks to the Internet).
The tables and the chairs on the Dolly are comfortable enough for the one and one half hour tour. The sights and sounds are refreshing, even the very occasional speed boat, and those are friendly with waves of recognition to fellow Lake Travellers.
By no means is this an exciting attraction. However, if you just want to visit a beautifully created landscape, that happens to have a gorgeous Lake in the middle and surrounding of it, on which you can just plain relax ....then I will recommend this tour to you. Bring your camera's and a 16-24 oz. bottle of water. (Drinking water is provided on the Dolly if you run out.)
If you've ever dreamed of renting a pontoon boat and skippering your friends or family around the Lake, you may consider the Dolly Steamboat as a more enjoyable alternative. It's less expensive, less stress, no responsibility (other than don't lean to far over the edge), and the crew has Historical as well as other interesting information to share with you as well. I know I only gave it a Four Star, but that's because it doesn't have the adrenaline some of you are looking for, sorry, I loved it! |

| This is my forth time on this ride but I had clients in from the East Coast and they wanted to see a piece of Arizona in the tight time sturture they had while here. What better to do than Tortilla Flats and then the Dolly ride. They were so impressed and loved it. The Captain was very good and kept everyone informed.
Thanks for the fun! |

Couple on a Date |
| It was our first time on the lake, and will definitely have to return to try out some of the other activities offered there. We enjoyed seeing the eagles or falcons flying overhead, and I even managed to see a few bighorn sheep. We were a little surprised to see that almost all of the other passengers were well older than us, but they were a very nice group of people and we enjoyed talking with them. The music seemed a little overdramatic and corny to us at times, particularly the bit with Bach (but the rock formation itself was cool), and Titanic music. However, that was merely a minor quibble for what turned out to be a very enjoyable experience. We're certainly glad we went! |

| This was a relaxing tour of the lake and canyons. The weather was beautiful, as was the scenery. I was disappointed that I didn't see any wildlife, other than a few birds of prey, but maybe next time. The accommodations are first class...comfortable and clean vessel, nice snack bar, nice staff, well organized. I'd like to return sometime for the dinner cruise. |

| My wife and I live in Mesa and had always wanted to do the Dolly Steamboat. I recently retired and it made it easier to pick a date. My wife is strong into photography so she took photos while I relaxed and took in all the great scenery. We are familiar with the desert and its flora and fauna but was still a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. I would highly recommend this boat trip for locals and visitors alike. |

| Pleasant, informative way to spend 90 minutes on a nice day. Saw a large number of big horn sheep. Our eastern guest thoroughly enjoyed the trip. |
