| The youngest in our group of 8 from Wisconsin was 14 and the oldest was 78. One of us is in a wheel chair. We all liked the trip.
Seeing the mountain goat was a high point ... we don't have them in Wisconsin.
This was my second trip with you so I guess I must have like the first trip also. |

| My wife and son and I enjoyed the cruise very much. However, as the captain and on-boards guides directed our view to interesting natural formations and bighorn sheep, they used vague ("about a hundred feet left of the ___" - who can tell how far 100 feet is when you don't have any common reference?!) and not very helpful clues to look for landmarks, such as reference to trees and shrubs they knew, but whose names were foreign to us.. We had to work hard to see even a glimpse of what was noted before they were gone. An inexpensive laser pointer could have helped us pinpoint the rock formations and landmarks outcroppings where the sheep were supposed to be. Most of the passengers in our vicinity along with us were frustrated by the inability to decipher what was supposed to be there, but many let on like they could see them so our female guide would feel she was being helpful, which she was clearly trying to be, jusdt not successfully.. |

| Very professionally operated, informative and relaxing. A good way to spend a Spring Summer or Fall afternoon, perhaps the Winter would be a little cool for comfort. Kudos to Dolly ! |

Couple on a Date |
| It was a beautiful day, and the water was calm - but, my minor complaint was that we only went PART way up the canyon & lake. We missed a LOT!
My MAJOR complaint was that no one would honor my "COYOTE COUPONS" discount: the site had no way to enter this coupon, and no way to contact them directly to adjust the billing; I sent an e-mail to 'customerservice@dollysteamboat.com' (as directed), but the e-mail was returned as "Undeliverable"; and, at the customer window (Sun 3/30), at Canyon Lake, the Dolly Steamboat rep REFUSED to do anything about the discount coupon! :-( She was more interested in making sure the cattle got herded onto the boat.
We've lived in Mesa since 1987, and this was our 1st trip on the Dolly - some 'first impression'. |

| Our cruise was on a very pleasant 80F day at the end of March '08. It is recommended that you arrive 30 minutes early as they give you a boarding number based on when you check in. Earlier equals better seating. Canyon Lake provided some nice desert scenery of the rock formations and high cliffs on either side. We didn't see much wildlife on our trip apart from a few hawks, but the way the lake twists and turns through the canyon walls was quite spectacular. There was more personal watercraft than I expected on the lake, but for the most part it wasn't that noisy and the other boaters were friendly. Jeff, the captain was informative and funny in a corny way. I'm sure he's done his routine dozens of times. On board the boat are chips and drinks for sale at a reasonable price. They allow only water bottles to be brought on board. Our cruise was full and consisted of families with children, senior citizens and grandparents, and a few people in their thirties. The cruise is advertised as 90 minutes but I calculated more like 75 as we left a bit late and arrived slightly early. |

| I reserved the trip and paid on-line the night before, arrived early with the camera, binoculars and water that your website suggested and waited in the shade overlooking the lake on the benches provided. The only small hitch was the confusing sign on the window that seemed to say that they were not running again that day so a few people were worried and there was no one there to explain until the boat returned from the earlier cruise.
Overall, I plan to take others on the boat and probably try th dinner cruise some day.
I went near the end of March and the weather was near perfect for the 4:00 pm cruise.
The crew were helpful, friendly and kept us laughing and looking as they pointed out sights and gave good history information mixe with a few jokes.
Good job! |

| My wife and I really enjoyed the boat ride. It was very informative and a great experience in Arizona. Normally, you think of Arizona as the hot and dry desert but this showed the beauty of the canyons and lake.

| The Dolly ride through the canyon took us to breathtaking views we can't see on a drive., and Captain Tom had interesting things to say about the rock formations, the wildlife and the history of the canyon. We didn't see the mountain sheep, who probably preferred shade on an 80-degree afternoon. It wasn't the Grand Canyon but it was grand in its up-close and magnificently beautiful way. |
