This was a delightful and peaceful boat ride which took us all over Canyon Lake. The Captain narrated all the important flora and fauna but let us enjoy the serenity with too much blabbing.
I will definitely recommend this trip to friends. |

Would highly recommend this activity. Had a group ranging in age 72 to 10 years and all enjoyed the trip. The drive to the lake was beautiful and the captain was very entertaining and informative. The pricing was excellent and the snacks and other items available for sale were extremely reasonably priced. The entire experience was pleasant and was very happy we decided to take the trip. Worth the ride from Phoenix.

We enjoyed viewing sites that we would not have been able to see from the road or banks of river and lake. Leisurely pace. |

Our family really enjoyed the scenic Dolly Steamboat Cruise. The narration of what we saw was clear and informative. The ride was calm and peaceful. The employees were all very nice and helpful. The boat was very clean and comfortable. The ride was very enjoyable. This is my third time on the Dolly and I will be going again. I highly recommend it for everyone. |

We went on the 1-1/2 hour boat trip - it was just long enough and somewhat relaxing although the music was hard to hear at times. Somewhat informative - beautiful scenery. It is a nice trip to take for out of town guests. Would prefer different types of food offered, such as ice cream. Everything was salty. Lemonade would be good also. Priced a little bit too high. |

Our family wholeheartedly loved every minute of our cruise! We had a relative visiting from Texas who said it was one of the most enjoyable afternoons he'd experienced. Though the temp hovered at around 110, the breezes off the lake kept us refreshed and we were glad that snacks & beverages were also offered! We all very much appreciated Captain Tom's narration as it was not continuous and allowed us just enough time to converse with each other, while at the same time offering invaluable & interesting information on the rock formations, history of the area & local wildlife. The seating was comfortable & each area of the boat offered the ability to have panoramic views of the entire lake. Though water activities were happening all around us they did not distract from our cruise and, in fact, added to our enjoyment of the day! Afterwards, our family had a picnic & headed over to Tortilla Flats for prickly pear ice cream. All in all, a beautiful day which started with a delightful cruise on the Dolly Steamboat. We highly recommend this cruise to anyone local or visiting the area and we'll be returning again soon! |

Loved the trip, only disappointed that we didn't see any animals, otherwise it was very informative and great scenery.My daughter and family that were visiting us from Chicago enjoyed it very much.

Due to one of the children being too poorly to go on the boat, even though we had checked in we could not take the trip. Due to the trip being booked and paid for over the internet we could not get a refund.
I suggest that you do not pay for the trip on the internet, reservations can be made (I've since learnt) and payment made on the day which would have saved me $80.
As for the trip I'm sure it's great and hope to find out the next time I make a reservation on the Dolly paddle boat |
