| This is something that I have wanted to do for quite some time with my family. Now that we have taken the Dolly Cruise I am definitely going back to do the twilight dinner cruise just so we can be out there on the lake for a little longer. I wish they did a longer daytime cruise and venture further back into the lake just so we may get an extended look at the wonderful views of nature that surrounds us! |

| Very relaxing and beautiful and the crew does an extra special job of making you feel welcome.
The narration was excellent and surprisingly, the boat sails very smoothly. It was not windy or cold, even in November! Scenery was astonishing nd l and half hours was just enough time to make it enjoyable. |

| The scenery was gorgeous! The music accompanied the trip well, and the guide's comments were helpful. We were pleased that the boat slowed down so we could watch a desert bighorn on the rocks above us. Since I have allergy/asthma problems, I was glad to see that so many areas were protected from the wind. |

| The scenery was beautiful, and the staff was friendly and helpful. A Big Horn Sheep was seen by some of the passengers and the captain circled back around so everyone could see it! That was very nice.
I was disappointed with the lack of "nature talk". Most of the audio was a mix of easy listening songs, with just a little talking thrown in. I would have liked to hear more about the animals that live in the mountains (whether we saw them or not), as well as about the geology and plant life. There was some, but not as much as I would have expected for a nature cruise.
I would still recommend the trip, but more for the pretty scenery than the educational value. |

| We enjoyed the boat trip very much. The scenery and the bighorn sheep were great.
Sometimes it was hard to understand the narrator. The sound system could be a bit better. But the ride was well worth the trip. The lake was quiet and very clear in most places.
It is a good ride to take when someone can't get around very well. We took my mother and she liked it. |

| The Narrated Nature Cruise on Canyon Lake was an enlightening experience and enjoyable. The narration was not too much to be daunting, but provided just enough information of interest. The duration of the cruise was great and the boat was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend the lunch time cruise as oppose the dinner cruise in my opinion as it would be too dark in the Fall to enjoy the surroundings. |

| The ride was very pleasant and comfortable. The scenery around Canyon Lake is outstanding as you meander around various bends in the lake. The Captain and crew were very attentive and customer-oriented. |

| This sternwheeler steamboat cruise takes you into the back country of Tonto National Forest. Captain Tom makes plenty of stops, and explains geological, biological, historical and amusing features of Canyon Lake. For instance, along the way, we saw Bach and his organ, bat caves, a mammoth and two native women guarding Canyon Lake. Captain Tom had a story for them all. (In fact, thanks to this great cruise, we found ourselves seeing characters and shapes in other landforms we encountered while touring Arizona.) The tour was also interactive and informative; Captain Tom had us ask Bach to play his organ, and asked us questions about what we might be seeing. He took genuine interest in his passengers and related personal stories with us where conversation allowed. Perhaps my favorite feature of Canyon Lake was the wall of geodes and petrified trees, seen end-on, near the turn-around point of the cruise.
We took the tour in November on a calm day. The boat was clean and, on our cruise, comfortably uncrowded. Compared to other attractions we visited, the cruise was relaxing. We had a fun time and took the opportunity of sitting-while-touring to really see the sights and learn the stories. We took plenty of photos which will complement the memories we made. |
