| This was a nice break from the dusty desert. The captain was a great narrator, and we saw petrified wood, native plants, many birds, and surprisingly 8 bighorn sheep! There were a couple with big horns, and even a little baby. As an animal lover, this was the highlight of the ride for me. Even without the sheep, the tour is worth taking. It would be nicer without the music the crew plays, too. |

| I had seen the boat but never done the trip. I thought my grandson would enjoy it and he really did. The captain's narration added to the fun. He was careful to point out wildlife and move the boat close to shore to see the group of big horn sheep. I would do the dinner cruise with a group of adults in the future. |

| A nice way to spend a few hours on a Sunday. Not too long on the water and just enough narration not to become overwhelming. |

| My wife and I decided on the spur of the moment to take the cruise and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The scenery is beautiful and the ship's crew members were very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend it. As a bonus for us, Kelly Ripa, (Regis & Kelly) her husband and family were passengers on our cruise. |

| We had family visiting from the east coast this year and took them for a ride on Dolly. Even though it was pretty hot that day, the breeze we felt while on the boat was really nice. The music in the background, the narration from the captain, the scenery, and the slow pace of the boat was very relaxing and interesting. This was my fifth excursion on Dolly and I find something new to enjoy on every trip. I highly recommend this trip any time of the year for local residents and especially for visitors. |

| The cruise was neat, but we went to see the wildlife described in the ad. The temp
was in excess of 110 and the animals were smarter than we were to stay in their dens or in the shade. We saw one duck when we docked. |

| I enjoyed meeting people from all over, and watching their fascination with Arizona and its various flora, and architecture. Particularly enjoyed this time of year when the centrury plants were in bloom.
Narrator did a great job describing the various scenes which would be seen in the canyon walls. |

Family With Children |
| Many years ago, I had taken my children on this Dolly Steamboat during spring break and we all thought it was fun. So finally, for Father's Day, 2 of the now adult kids and a granddaughter and I took my husband. Though we didn't see any animals like the kids and I did the first time, it was still a fun thing to do. The 2 adult kids are now talking about doing the dinner cruise.
The crew was friendly and helpful and the captain was informative and funny.
The granddaughter did have to wear a life vest which is to be expected but she didn't like it as it made her uncomfortable and hot. We did find out that if you are downstairs, the vest isn't needed.
Most surprising was the snack bar and the VERY reasonable prices.
We ended our trip by having lunch at the marina, again, very reasonably priced with a great menu.
We'd do it again but when it is cooler. |
