| My wife and I have done a number of these type of boat tours both in the US and Canada. We would rate the Dolly Steamboat Tour as one of the best. The scenery you drive through to get to the boat is worth the trip in and of itself. The reservation process, the small restaurant on site, the loading process was flawless. The tour was well narrated, the boat was VERY CLEAN, the staff were great. There were lots of interesting sights and sightings during the 90 minute tour. My only complaint, as with any great event is that it ended too soon. |

| We often take out of town guest for the Dolly Boat ride at the Canyon. Always an excellent trip, narration is excellent and crew accommodating. Prefer to have visitors take the tour in the fall and spring, but even the extreme heat the last time we took the trip was worth the trip. |

| We particularly enjoyed the winding road that leads to the lake. Very European in nature.
The crew was very cordial, friendly and knowledgeable about the local area.
The ride is very slow but enjoyed the landscape and just relaxing.
We were hoping to see some big horn sheep as advertised but found out that it was too hot for them to be out and about on the day that we were there. This was on Aug. 29, 2009. So, a little disappointed but still enjoyed the ride.
If you have small children you will have to work to keep them from getting a little bored. We had our 8 year old grandson and his dad with us. He did pretty well but I needed to show some excitement about the fauna and rock formations from time to time to keep him from getting too bored. He really wanted to be on one of the wave runners that were running about. He did enjoy the trip though. |

| My wife and I took the 1 1/2 hr Narrated Nature Cruise on Canyon Lake halfway through our holidays. We have been to Arizona several times and almost always end up taking the trek through the Superstition Mountains. The drive is always spectacular, but this time we decided on a whim to add the cruise. What an unexpected gem we found. I am sure we will become regulars when we retire. We had a delightful time. It was quite warm that day but there was usually a breeze blowing over the boat. The Captain was well informed on the area and wildlife, pointed out many interesting things AND played great music all the way through the ride. I would recommend this cruise to anyone who wants a scenic drive and a relaxing tour of a beautiful lake. |

| We almost didn't book the cruise because it got so hot in late July, hitting 114-115 for several days, but when the temperatures fell in early August we thought we'd go ahead. Our granddaughter was turning 3 years old and she loves Enya's music and videos, especially her song, "Orinoco Flow" or as she calls it: Sail Away. That was one reason for the idea of a boat trip. We enjoyed the drive up to the lake, I hadn't been there since I was a teenager. We enjoyed the great breakfast at the cafe next to the marina and waited for the Dolly to load and depart. We enjoyed the captain's
narrative as we cruised around the lake. My daughter said to our granddaughter,
"wouldn't it be cool if they played "Sail Away." A few minutes later we heard just that
song being played. In fact the entire selection of music was terrific.
The narration was great, learned a lot about Arizona and it's wildlife, geology. The
breeze was welcome, I don't think we were over 100 degrees the entire trip and that ain't bad for August. Anyway, we're suggesting that anyone who has young kids take
them up for the cruise, it's something I know they'll remember. |

| For us it was a lovely way to enjoy each other's company with breath taking views surrounded by mountains. It feels so serial that it seams the mountain take you in.
Please take a good camera....Lucky for me we just bought a better one for our vacation.
In short, I recommend it highly.....We are going again next year......enjoy mother nature at it's best....... |

| I thought that the crusie was very educational and quite interesting. There were lots of things that i learned that i would have never guessed about. I also am even more interested in taking another one. I think the only down side was the time of year it was kinda hot so not as much wild life. |
