| My wife and I have done a number of these type of boat tours both in the US and Canada. We would rate the Dolly Steamboat Tour as one of the best. The scenery you drive through to get to the boat is worth the trip in and of itself. The reservation process, the small restaurant on site, the loading process was flawless. The tour was well narrated, the boat was VERY CLEAN, the staff were great. There were lots of interesting sights and sightings during the 90 minute tour. My only complaint, as with any great event is that it ended too soon. |

| My son and I decided to do this on Labor Day! it was nearly a 2 hour drive, but so worrht it, the cruise was wonderful. We were fortunate enough to select the back section of the boat, where we could move our chairs inorder to not have to sit in the sun! it was a bit warm that day. The cruise was just the right pace, time enough to enjoy the views! The narration was just right! not too much, not too little, the interesting scenery including old petrified logs, and the crevases in the rocks, the areas where you could tell that during certain parts of the year water would be falling off of the high cliffs. The interestingly named points, and out croppings were fun to look at, the elephant etc. The captains "mates" were great, and happily took our photos with the boat at the end of our ride. It was just the right amount of time and we sure enjoyed it. Then we went up to the restaraunt and had a delicious lunch! with great service.
here's one idea for you, include the ride and a buffet lunch, maybe on Saturday and Sunday or on holidays, that way the cook wouldnt be so swamped all at once! and the waitresses, who weren't busy until we arrived! then they really had to fly! and hey I would spend $ 40 a piece for the ride with buffet included. And the buffet should be something different, fun, interesting! |

| We had 3 generations of European Relatives with us and they all enjoyed the very nice day, good weather, nice scenry, very relaxing and we saw one Big Horn Sheep.
Enjoyed lunch at Tortilla Flats prior to boarding, then a trip through Goldfield, old mining town with ice cream and then pizza at Organ Stop Pizza, Mesa, with all the wonderful music. A very nice day. |

| We often take out of town guest for the Dolly Boat ride at the Canyon. Always an excellent trip, narration is excellent and crew accommodating. Prefer to have visitors take the tour in the fall and spring, but even the extreme heat the last time we took the trip was worth the trip. |

| We had some friends from back East (New York) visiting us for an extended weekend. While looking into things to do that wouldn't be too expensive or hard to get to, my husband found your website. We are relatively new to Arizona (only here 2 yrs) so this was a new experience for us as well.
We had a great time! Your crew was fun and very attentive. The narrator had a lilting, sing-song style of speaking which we found a little amusing but he did a great job and we learned quite a bit along with enjoying the trivia that he told us.
We are expecting more New York visitors the end of the month and we are thinking of doing the dinner cruise this time. Even if we don't do the dinner cruise, we will definitely do one of the day time cruises again.
Thanks!!! |

| We particularly enjoyed the winding road that leads to the lake. Very European in nature.
The crew was very cordial, friendly and knowledgeable about the local area.
The ride is very slow but enjoyed the landscape and just relaxing.
We were hoping to see some big horn sheep as advertised but found out that it was too hot for them to be out and about on the day that we were there. This was on Aug. 29, 2009. So, a little disappointed but still enjoyed the ride.
If you have small children you will have to work to keep them from getting a little bored. We had our 8 year old grandson and his dad with us. He did pretty well but I needed to show some excitement about the fauna and rock formations from time to time to keep him from getting too bored. He really wanted to be on one of the wave runners that were running about. He did enjoy the trip though. |

| Staff was very helpful. Loved the woman staffing the snack booth. She had a water mister and was a life saver! Loved how the Dolly was redone, loved the restroom and free ice water! And air next year yea you will definitly see us again and again and again. No charge for my 2 year old grandson was a great bonus! Keep up the good work. |
